The Beko was at least 20% cheaper (NOTE: White is 10% cheaper than silver for some reason!) than any other in the showroom and has all the features you'd expect of a mid to upper price model. It feels solid and well made though it's not as "pretty" as machines from some other brands. I can find no significant difference between this and the more expensive brands bought by my friends.
All the usual features are there and the very ... ...lasted 12 years and the Beko is a revelation. I don't know if it'll last as long but it is quieter, more flexible and generally better in every measurable sense. I really feel that I got a bargain with this and would recommend it most highly.
However, it does have some issues:
1) It NEEDS at least 1bar of water pressure to operate at all. If you live in an apartment (I do) it may not work without a pumped supply (which, luckily, I have). Please ...

Advantages: Huge porthole, superb spin, price. Disadvantages: Takes quite a bit longer than other machines to complete cycle.
...with this machine. I only bought it because of the price as my old machine died unexpectedly but I'm now a Beko fan. The only disappointment was not getting a free box of washing powder inside like the good old days - but at this price who cares!! ...

I also bought Beko fridge, freezer and gas cooker at same time, they are good for the price although oven burners are a weird design as it burns things on low shelf with poor cooking on top shelf, it needs a shield plate between bottom and lowest shelf to distribute heat better. Would like to buy Beko again but worried about washer reliability so could not realy recommend to any one I know. ...

Advantages: Quiet, sleek, TOTAL KIDDIE LOCK! Disadvantages: Can't think of any
Why the title? Because with this machine, there are no "click, click, click .... missed, go all the way round with the dial" frustrations. Point the dial to the very simple settings eg "Cotton 60", decrease the spin speed if you want (but why would you) put in the powder, close the very sleek door (no handles!) press on and then press in 2 buttons for 3 seconds and let the 2 year old spin the dial to her hearts content, knowing that the cycle is ... ...fast spin speed for the money, no handles for kids (and adults) to break, CHILD LOCK that really is a total lock, not just the door, but includes the programs. Oh and it also has a 30 minute cycle that is ideal for lightly soiled stuff.
Before getting it, had never heard of Beko. Now very much on my list of top manufacturers. ...

I have had this machine for about 6 months and have had no problems with it yet.
My only complaint is that the wash cycle is very slow although I have to say it washes the clothes well and have never been dissapointed with its performance.
I have found the door to be very difficult to close and you have to be firm with it as if its not shut completely the program will not start, this took me a while to fathom out!
I was drawn to this particular ... ...say it has a nice sleek look about it.
I would say if you want a cheap machine that looks good then you cant go wrong with this one.
I find that I use the quickwash quite alot as the programs are quite slow.
You can also choose which spin speed you want to use for each program.
The 1500 spin speed is very effective and I find I can take clothes straight out and put them in my dryer and they dry fairly quickly.
Buy this machine you cant go wrong!! ...
