I got a silver machine

Advantages: Cheap. Eergy efficient. Silver
Disadvantages: shakes a bit when it spins

If you had read the review of my last washing machine you will remember that it was total rubbish. It is now literally rubbish and lies forlorn in the back yard. I bits. I had to dismantle it ti make it light enough to get in the boot before its final trip to the tip in the Zafira Hearse. As a final act of defiance, it is making our yard look like a gypsy camp with the drum lying alongside the wire-strewn cabinet and concrete blocks. Still, I hated ...
...and causes corrosion. God I have a mean streak. The replacement, due to lack of funds is about as cheap as you can get. £170, cold-water intake only and a mingy 1000rpm spin. BUT AT LEAST IT WORKS!!! The washing smells nice and the handle is still attached. And it's silver too. Cheap is good. It arrived ******** Wrapped in clingfilm, like a huge packed lunch. I was warned to remove the holding bolts that stop the drum rattling around in transit ...

I've BEKOme a Housewife

Advantages: Quiet, effective
Disadvantages: WHITE

Having just moved out of home and in with my boyfriend, into a semi-furnished house I now have plenty to review!!! YAY!!! When we moved into our tiny new house there was a washing machine however it was older than both of us put together and it didn't take long to pack up. We contacted our land-lady who promptly bought us a new one and had it delivered early one morning. As with everything nowadays it arrived covered in plastic and cardboard which ...
...annoying. Anyway, that aside and my recycling sufficiently topped up for the week, the washing machine was fitted with little difficulty. The delivery driver was very helpful, removing the old machine and taking that with him along with subsequently and quickly fitting the new one. I am sad to say that this was not purchased from a large national company, as I think everyone should have this sort of service, however the service we received was very ...

Whiter than white results

Advantages: washes well, durable, price, range of programmes, easy to use, has door lock
Disadvantages: it's perfect

...around at 1000 rpm, the Beko WMA 510 has never let me down over the 2 years it has sat in my kitchen steadily working its way through the huge amounts of washing we produce on a weekly basis. First bought for £199.99 from Comet it is now much cheaper on their website at £169.99 and based on both prices it is affordable for most and well worth the price due to how easy it is to use, the wide range of wash settings and large drum. Fitting was simple ...
...on. I would recommend the Beko WMA 510 for its wash results, affordable price, low noise levels and range of programme settings. After 2 years it is going strong and we haven't needed to call out an engineer to fix any problems making it a hassle free washing machine. ...

Beko the brilliant everlasting washing machine!

Advantages: Simple, cheap, reliable.
Disadvantages: Not the most stylish, some parts could be more robust. (minor gripe).

We have had the Beko washing machine for a good few years now and its been around so long that I am not even sure I can remember exactly how long that is. At least 3 years maybe more. It hasn't been without it's problems but I'll come to that issue later. Lets start with the design of the machine... Our's is white and lets be honest, does the colour really matter, I think a silver one was on offer when we ordered ours from one of the generic barn ...
...If I remember rightly it was another 20 of your English pounds so we went for the white one. It's still white now after several years of use and having food dribbled down it from the kitchen top, wiped clean everytime and no discolouration so far. The machine is a simple design, none of this Dysonesk funky plastics or the slightly weirdness of the Moon machine, whoever makes that. A simple draw which feels a little flimsy but does its job well enough, ...

The BEKO WMA 510 washing machine

Advantages: Reasonably priced
Disadvantages: Noisy in use

The product was purchased 6 months ago and although it is used nearly everyday it has washed clothes well. One or two things have come to light since it was purchased, after a few months it became very noisy when it reached the pump out and spin cycle. The merchant who supplied the machine sent an engineer to rectify this and although the pump was changed the noise persisted. The engineer told us this was perfectly normal but we find it very irritating ...

A real alternative

Advantages: Good energy efficiency
Disadvantages: doesnt have a big brand badge (if that worries you)

...old machine was removed. The Beko was easily set level using a spirit lelel and the adjustable feet (this prevents tem wandering across the floor during spin cycles) THe machine has now been in service for 4 months without problem, its used once a day and still as quiet as the day we bought it. We were concerned that a cheaper machine would be noisey but it isnt. I would have no problems in recommending this machine to anyone whos after a no nonsense, ...

A CRACKING MACHINE

Advantages: QUICK, EFFICIENT, CLEANS CLOTHES FIRST TIME EVERY TIME, GREAT VALUE
Disadvantages: YOU CAN BUY IT NOW FOR LESS THAN WE PAID

A CRACKING MACHINE We purchased our machine almost 12 months ago and it has to date coped extremely well doing 2 or 3 loads per day. The machine is quiet and runs a good deal better than previous machines we have had. It has a good range of program settings, but most importantly for us, it gets our clothes clean first time, every time. The Time save function is particularily useful for us as it cuts down the cycle time and allows us to fit all our ...
...handy child lock function, ideal in our household with 2 eager young helpers keen to 'work' the machine. At its reduced price this machine is a steal. Do not waste your money on more expensive machines. This one does exactly what it promises. The best value machine we have ever had. ...

Beko WMA 510 S

Advantages: Quiet, Quick, Simple to use
Disadvantages: On/Off Button is a push in not Digital

Beko really do make wonderful appliances, this washing machine is so quiet I sometimes have to check I have switched it on. I love the fact it has a childlock function, so I don't have to worry what my 2 year old is touching. It is very simple to use. The only downfall I would say is the on/off button is a push in button not digital so my son can switch it off, but it will just carry on from when it got switched off when you switch it back on!!! ...
...certainly does the job, I can cram clothes in and they will always come out well washed without any holes. The door does not open until after 2 minutes when your load has finished and is a very tight door, (which I find a good thing) on my last washing machine the door opened far to easily and my son would just stand there banging it open and shut. ...

Quick review of Beko WMA 510

we bought this washing machine brand new due to the old one breaking down beyond repair all was well to begin with until it stopped draining fully then just as the warranty runs out all 3 of the drum ars snapped off in the space of 3 days, we never over loaded it and it was well looked after i really dont recommend this machine at all it was also very noisey when spinning and leaked a couple of times too beware it wasn't but it was built very cheap ...

Great Machine for a reasonable price

Advantages: Quiet and easy to use buttons/dial
Disadvantages: No indication of which stage of the cycle it's at during wash

Have had this Beko washing machine for a few months now and am very pleased with the performance of it. I was a bit spectical at first because of the price, but it certainly does the job just as good (if not better) than other machines I have owned in the past. It's quiet enough for me to put on at night, even the final spin doesn't disturb me or my neighbour upstairs The only irritation for me is that you can't really tell how far through each ...
...it doesn't stick out at a 90 deg angle like they do on some W.Machines, and the tray is easy to remove if you need to clean it. All in all it's a fab machine and I would purchase look at purchasing other products from Beko in the future ...

BEKO WMA 510

Advantages: 30 minute quick wash, child lock, pause function.
Disadvantages: None spring to mind

Beko WMA 510 is excellent Value for money. It is easy to use and comes with a manual that explains each operation in detail and plain english, not double dutch. The best thing about it is their is a child lock button on there so no little fingers can change the cycle half way through a load. The drum will take a fair amount of clothes, don't overload though or it is horrendously noisy and doesn't clean that well. Powder dispenser tray is really easy ...
...comes. The pause button is another handy little feature, i find it really handy if i am on the phone in the kitchen i can pause the washing maching and still hear myself think. In total there are 16 wash cycles which include 30 minute cycle, Hand Wash, Delicates, Synthetics (temperatures range from cold - 90) and Cottons (temperates again range from cold - 90). There is a prewash button, handy for deep cleaning and an Extra Rinse button, you get ...

Doesn't cost the earth

Advantages: cheap, energy efficient, quiet
Disadvantages: slow spin, small load

I have owned this machine for about six months. We wanted a washing machine that didn\'t cost the earth, either in terms of expense or energy usage, and the WMA 510 seemed to fit both those criteria. So far it has been doing a great job of washing our clothes, and everything comes out nice and clean. The load size is a little small, for example we can\'t wash a full set of double bedding all at once, and the cycle times do seem rather long. If you ...
...that could be a problem, but for two of us with on average one load per week it is not a big deal. The machine offers every cycle you could ever want, from handwash and silk settings, up to 90 degrees to get those tough stains out. We use 40 degrees cotton most of the time but it is nice to have the options available. The spin is a little slow at 1000rpm but it does the job well and clothes come out damp but not dripping. It is also a very quiet ...

Quick review of Beko WMA 510

CURRYS SALESLADY ASKED IF I WANTED TO CONSIDER A MORE CREDITABLE MAKE, HAVING JUST PUT A £500 MACHINE IN THE GARDEN, AND ON A BUDGET I RESISTED AND STUCK TO THE BEKO. I FIND IT WASHES BETTER THAN THE STATE OF THE ART £500 MACINE, ITS LESS NOISY AND SEEMS MORE ROBUST. THREE CHEERS FOR A PRODUCT WHICH DOES EXACTLY AS IT SAYS. ...

This short review says it all!

Advantages: the delivery was prompt and trouble free
Disadvantages: It broke after 2 washes

...and his partner purchased a Beko WMA 510 as a Birthday gift for me from Currys. The washer was delivered Friday 2nd November 2007,by two friendly guys who plumbed it in and removed my old machine for recycling. So far so good. I have managed to do two loads of washing and then half way through a wash cycle the machine stopped leaving the washing half washed and unrinsed and a full drum of water. This happened today Sunday 4th November 2007 ...two ...
