    ***Please note that Ciao have provided the wrong photograph and also note that I have checked with ciao that the white machine should go here, thanks*** Beko is a well known white goods specialist company offering laundry machines, cookers, fridges etc. The Beko WM5100 in simple terms, is a washing machine. It is available in white - perhaps it was once available in silver though I cannot locate this one. The washing machine is free standing and has an energy efficiency rating of A+.     In addition to breaking the fridge, the tenants who rented my mother’s house for a few years also wrecked the washing machine, or, as they would put it, it broke. This model I’m telling you about now was the replacement the dubious letting agency sourced and invoiced us for. For once, they actually did something decent, and we’re pleased with this (though of course not as pleased as we would have been had we not had to buy a new one).     I think there are six words that a woman just dreads to hear – the washing machine has packed up. A couple of weeks ago my six year old Indesit decided that it had had enough and in total despair I searched around on the Internet to find a run of the mill machine that came in at a reasonable price. I went onto all of the usual websites, Currys, B and Q, Argos, Tesco, Co-Op and Comet.     At Christmas Its not a time to need to replace your washing machine and ours failed on the 18th so we needed a replacement not having any cover on our old one. We check out a few and found the Beko WM5100 looked ok and had all the elements we needed and was in fact quite a green washing machine. The Beko WM5100 we purchased was dark grey and has an efficiency rating of A+ therefore economical to run and in reality from experience it is very useful and economical.     Unlike most households, we have two washing machines. When we moved into the house we are currently in there was an already a washing machine and a dryer - but a year or so earlier my girlfriend needed a washing machine for her old house, so bought one. When we moved in she decided we move the washing machine already sitting in the lean-to and relegate it to 'spare' (who needs a spare washing machine, I ask you) and we promote hers to the one we primarily use as she insisted it was a great washer.     I"The Beko WM5100s offers excellent value for money. Its 8Kg load and large door makes it ideal for Duvet's and towels. It is simple to operate and as a useful time delay function, so can be set so that your washing is ready when you require it, not left for hours wet in the tub after the cycle. Its so quiet that you cant believe its actually going. The machine its replaced was a leading expensive brand name, but the BEKO is a far better machine.     I've noticed that this washing machine seems to be popular and that's probably because from what i've seen it is one of the cheapest ones to buy. It was this washing machine that i had when i was renting a house and for the first few months i had no problems with it. I did notice that my washing never seemed to be that clean and fresh but perhaps that was the washing powder i was using? Now i'm not the greatest at working out the technicalities of household appliances and when they have loads of settings and options it just confuses me.     My very expensive washing machine "died" after just 2 years, so I thought I may as well get a cheaper one this time if that was going to happen again. This Beko model was the cheapest one recommended on comparison web sites. Well I have to say I am chuffed to bits with it. It does exactly "what it says on the tin", lovely clean clothes on all programs, even the delicate wash. It is a very quiet machine, with easy to follow controls.     I personally believe that this washing machine (although fairly small) is great value for money. In terms of ease of use, this was hooked up and on the go within 40 minutes and the clothes come out extremely clean with minimal water retention. To be fair - the fact that you can wash clothes and have them dry within an hour and a half is a god send. I'm a student, so I need a washing maching that gives me optimum usage ability as well as durability so in my opinion this is one for those who are studyng and maintaining a flat or home.
