Just look at it! Well it's nothing like what Sony makes, but it doesn't look ugly either! One of the best mid-market 17" monitors around.
To begin with, it is one very good monitor at a very decent price. It costs £175 inc.VAT(at dabs.com). and the technical specs of it also seem good. It is capable of 1600 x 1200 with a refresh rate of 65Hz. I don't really need to run at this resolution, so I normally use 1280 x 1024 @ 75Hz, which is much better. ... ...a bit more money, most the time I don't need to run at such high resolutions, so this monitor is more than enough. I would have prefered a refresh rate of 85Hz when at 1280 x 1024, but 75Hz is still barable, but only if you really concentrate you can see a few flickers now and then. Generally when buying a monitor, first decide what size you want, I personally prefer 17" as it's a balance between work, games and deskspace. If you're into multimedia ...
