Advantages Advantages Small, Sleek, Connects to Phones, Good Coverage, Slim, fast, easy install

Disadvantages Disadvantages Cap can get lost as it is quite small

I have had this little product for about 4 Months now and I can say it is a wonderful little thing. The model I have is the: Belkin Bluetooth USB Adapter * Class 2; v1.2 10m This model is currently available for £8.99 on amazon (£3 cheaper than what I paid for it) and I can say it is the best thing I have bought. The reason why I bought this adapter was to connect my phone to my laptop and PC. This small and sleek adapter enables you to connect 2 or more bluetooth devices to each other wirelessly. This includes devices such as Mobile Phones and PDA's. I have connected both my Samsung D500 and ... more

I am not the most technically minded person in the world. Yet I had heard of Bluetooth, how it allows electrical things to "talk" to each other without the need for wires. As with a lot of new tech stuff, I thought it sounded good, but could not see a time when it would be of benefit to me. Then came Christmas, I received a great present in the form of a mobile phone, being a bit of a Billy no mates, I don't get that many calls, hmmmmm ok no calls. But the phone does so much more, it is an mp3 player, downloads games, pictures, videos, internet and a whole host of other things, that belong in ... more

----What do you mean no Bluetooth?!---- I had purchased a new Nokia phone which had the fantastic added feature of Bluetooth technology. However, I realized that Bluetooth was not one of the features that come with my laptop. The way to get round this was to buy a separate Bluetooth adapter which could be plugged into my pc and left there - getting as close to a Bluetooth enabled computer as possible. When I went to get an adapter there was a fairly reasonable collection available but I thought to stick with a name that I know best and that was Belkin. ----Appearance and packaging---- The ... more

The Belkin Bluetooth USB Adapter is very useful technology which you simply plug into your USB slot. I actually got this about 2 years ago because I wanted to transfer photos and videos from my mobile phone to my PC and I didn't have a mobile phone cable to connect to the PC. So this was ideal rather than purchasing a cable which would have cost the same, but with this I can use it for other Bluetooth enabled devices such as my PDA or Laptop. Main features: - Bluetooth connection capability via USB - Works with any device which is Bluetooth enabled - Has built in security using 128-bit ... more

Bluetooth is a type of RF wireless signal, and it enables you to connect more-or-less any two bluetooth devices together without wires. Typical bluetooth devices include PC's and Laptops, Mobile Phones, Headphones, Headsets, Mice and Keyboards, and PDA's. This adapter allows you to add bluetooth functionality to a PC. You might use this to connect a bluetooth headset to your PC - which could act as a microphone and speaker - or to make internet voice or video calls. You could also use it to connect a wireless, bluetooth, keyboard, mouse or headphones to your PC. Most usefully, it is an easy ... more

I love my music and wanted some songs on my mobile phones mp3 player but didn't know how to do it, my partner came with the Bluetooth USB adapter for my pc. Now I thought using this would difficult to use but I have to say it wasn't. What it does With Bluetooth it allows you to connect to your pc or any phone that has Bluetooth availability, the Bluetooth adapter allows you to have a wireless free mouse and keyboard and just about any other Bluetooth device you can think of ( even a printer) that you need to connect to which means less wires!! There is a down side but I will come to this later ... more

Advantages Advantages BTv1.2 better for voice, Tiny, very small and did I mention diminutive

Disadvantages Disadvantages Err...cap can drop off...does that count?

I bought this bluetooth (BT) device so I could connect my notepad to my mobile phone (SonyEricsson K750i) wirelessly; quick summary:I've had it 6 months and it works a treat. My version is Part # F8T009uk, which is the enhanced BTv1.2 version. It looks identical to the v1.1 version so watch out if you want the improved voice features apparently offered by v1.2 as some shops may try and flog you their old stock. I got lucky on this front as I originally ordered this kit from Amazon but it was out of stock, so I cancelled. Next day I just happened to see that the new version had come out and so ... more

Bluetooth is one of those "nearly" technologies. You know the ones, they promise to change the way we live and they nearly deliver. In the case of Bluetooth, the claims were for a wireless "Personal Area Network" that would link up all of your electronic devices and allow them to work in harmony with anything else that you came into range of. It was on this promise of an easier, automated way of life that I bought my Belkin Bluetooth widget. Measuring barely 70mm x 20mm x 6mm it's a compact, slimline design that doesn't hog too much space either side of your USB port, meaning you can still use ... more

Advantages Advantages Small, easy to take from place to place. Very useful with a phone.

Disadvantages Disadvantages Some fiddly options for setting up a network

To tell you the truth, this is a magnificently useful gadget for connecting two or more phones, pda's or computers together with no wires. To begin with, you must make sure to install the installation CD that comes in the package. This is because if you are wanting to set up a wireless bluetooth network around the home. You first must install the software before inserting the bluetooth adaptor. Once you have set up the device and it is working, there is a range of features that this device is capable of. These include, connecting computers together to share files, scanners, the internet etc ... more

I purchased this product a month back for approximately 20 GBP including the delivery charges on amazon.co.uk. I have gone in for the 10meter range product. It is available in different ranges. So the Bluetooth works within the 10 meters range. The PC requirements for this product is ***************************************** ** PC compatible computer, CPU speed should be above 200MHz or above. Memory should be above 64MB though they say that the recommended memory should be around 128 MB. The system should be Windows 98 and above.
