The Belkin F5D6900 is a small omni-directional antenna that comes fitted to a base, so it sits on your desk, and a 1 metre length of cable. Installing it is simplicity itself, as you only have to unscrew the antenna fitted to your network card and screw on ... ...just a case of trial and error to find the best place to put the antenna. I was amazed to see how much difference the signal strength is affected by the positioning, considering the cable is only 1 metre long.
At the moment I have only got 42% signal strength but the nearest router is 20m away and has to come through 1 brick wall and 2 internal walls. Considering I couldn't even pick up the network where my PC is, I suppose that's not too bad. It ...

...has not disconnected once.
Well worth the money if your having problems with your wireless network, it can only be used with the belkin f5d7000 and the wireless B card aswell.
