...manufacturer - Belkin
-----------------------------------
I have used Belkin products for years and only ever had one problem. My previous modem/router died - no power at all, tried a different power adapter but still the same. So, rather than go and buy a new one (this one was 2 years old) I decided to use the Belkin lifetime warranty. I had a brand new updated model router on my doorstep within 2 weeks. I didn't pay a penny - they even paid for ...

Advantages: Compact, added benefits such as security etc Disadvantages: Setup not so simple when User Manual not included!
...I ended up buying the Belkin ADSL Modem with Built-In Wireless Router (F5D7630uk4A). The price of this was £89.99. The reason I bought the Belkin product above the others was firstly because the sales assistant recommended it and also I have used Belkin products before at work and found them to do the job perfectly well.
At this point I should like to say that I consider myself reasonably well informed and educated on IT issues having worked in ...

My other half found it easy to install and get working on our main computer which is upstairs. Downstairs is our family computer and we though it would help the family,(kids not allowed in mum and dads bedroom), to access the internet for school work, research and e mail access.
Everything worked fine, even the remote dongle worked really ...

The replacement also had a faulty LAN port, but being aware of the fault, I simply used another other port. I initially set up my Apple Mac computer, before installing it on a Windows-based computer.
This modem router was fairly easy to set-up, with a short leaflet describing the ...
