You can pick this up now for around £7, I got mine free with the IPod when I bought it but to be honest mine has a clip on the back of the IPod so this protective sleeve is hardly ever used.
The band itself is made of rubber, it feels comfotable to wear and is very lightweight, the rubber band adds little to no weigh to the actual IPod itself. Because it's made of rubber it also ensures that the IPod is protected against it being dropped, dinged ... ...screen part is always visable so if anythings going to get broken whilst using it, its the screen, which is probably the worse part to get damaged.
The IPod slips safely and securely into the rubber sleeve, which holds it tightly. The band keeps your iPod screen and controls visible and they are still very easy to use when the IPod is in the band.
