Finds a signal anywhere...

Advantages: Very good range, useful extension, stylish
Disadvantages: Heats up quite a bit

I bought this last year to access the new wireless router in the upstairs hall of my block of flats, and although the signal was very weak, the adapter generally managed to find a signal and function normally, whereas a friends laptop was incapable of doing so from the same position. This was about 10 metres from the router, down a floor and through several walls so I am quite impressed. I currently use it in my home, again a floor away, this time ...
