    Advantages Advantages Compact, cheap

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Nothing yet

I recently bought my first belling from Currys for 299.99 plus delivery and installation charge of 75.00 which also paid them to take away my old cooker! Bargain!!! The Belling is a free standing Double Cavity Gas cooker. It features a convential main oven with light, a top conventional oven/grill and a hob with 4 gas burners. It also has a minute minder and clock. I choose the Anthracite colour, im not too sure if comes in a different colour but I have never seen one. The delivery guy from Currys was excellent. He was corgi registered which meant he was approved to fit all gas appliances ... more

Other niggles are that the grill output is not adjustable, the position ... more

Advantages Advantages Good basic Gas cooker for someone who has time to spare or likes "slow cooking"

Disadvantages Disadvantages the grill isn't powerful enough to cook rapidly

Great cooker, and something we bought as a starter in our first home, but on realisation should have got something with a more powerful grill as it takes ages to do my bacon and sausage!!! The oven is great, and cooks equally all over but doesn't seem to get as hot as an electric cooker (bizzarre). There is enough room in there for a small family (3 in our case) but I wouldn't want this for any more people than that as there isn't enough "cook space" or trays. The hobs and surfaces clean very easily - no problems or issues with pans and spillages etc . It would be a great idea if companies ... more
