Advantages: Low price, good image quality, range of functions and settings
Disadvantages: Need to save all scans, problems with some functions, slow speed

I got this scanner after having to chuck out another brand due to the chemical fumes it gave off, which made me ill. So the first test it had to pass was whether it smelt. Phew - it didn't! This scanner came with a disc featuring MiraScan software. MiraScan gives you quite a good range of settings to choose from: colour, greyscale or line art; high-speed, high-quality or high-quality 48-bit; and 75-19200 dpi.
