...noticed a special offer on Ben & Jerry’s ice cream range of buy two for £5. I believe they normally retail around the £3.30 mark, or so. Despite that, I still resisted what I thought was still an excessive price, despite all the good reviews I read about their products.

Ben & Jerry pride themselves on using the most natural ingredients possible, with rich, wholesome lashings/fillings of whatever the ice cream concerned is, be it chocolate, biscuits, caramel and so on. Ben and Jerry's comes in a cardboard pot containing 500ml of ice cream. I like the cardboard containers, as they feel more luxurious and special than plastic containers. It makes me feel like I am treating myself more. Half of the tub is filled with lovely pictures of chocolate fudge brownies, giving you an idea of the joys you are in for! Below the pictures, the flavour is written on a purple background. Easy to spot in the freezer!
... ...no exception, it was very creamy and very chocolatey. Definitely for eating with your eyes shut, so that nothing interrupts the intensity of the chocolate!
I have never been a big fan of Ben and Jerry's, I usually prefer Hagen Daas, but this one has my thumbs up. ...

Ben and Jerry are the single most fantastically great people ever to walk the face of this earth. They are saviours to dumped women and ice-cream obsessives everywhere, and I bow down to their magnificence. I have been hoping and praying for a Food category on Ciao ever since I arrived here, just so I could spread the good word, and finally, after all this time… it appears! For the uninitiated, Ben and Jerry started making ice cream in their ... ...often contains walnuts, although the Ben and Jerry version is nut-free) that has a soft gooey centre.
The major appeal to me of this ice cream is ‘discovering’ the bits of brownies as you eat. The smallish pieces are definitely big enough to be easy to taste, but are small enough so bits can get hidden in a spoonful of the rich chocolate ice cream. You do have to have a lot of self control not to dig out all of the brownies bits though! ...

I can, obviously never resist anything containing chocolate and this product looked as though it might contain enough to keep the cravings at bay for at least a 24 hour period. THE PRODUCT Chocolate ice cream containing lumps of chocolate fudge brownie. Mmmmm. The ice cream is not too dark as to be sickly and yet is rich enough to satisfy the most chocolate acclimatised ... ...delicious and once you have tried it you will be tempted to move on to other Ben and Jerry’s products. ...an offer on cartons of Ben and Jerry’s Ice Cream at ‘Buy two for £5’. That’s got the special offer information in early then – you knew it would be there somewhere didn’t you? The normal price for this ice cream is just over £3 for a 500ml tub, so this was a decent offer.
I had never tried Ben and Jerry’s before despite reading many positive opinions about it and seeing on sale at various cinemas and supermarkets.

...that it comes. Yes, Ben and Jerry have come up tops with yet another fantastically flavoured ice cream offering.
All Ben and Jerry's ice cream's are made in the USA and this particular one is an orgasmic combination of chocolate ice cream with chunks of chocolate brownie thrown in. These brownie pieces, despite the fact that they are in the middle of ice-cream, are not hard, in fact they are very moist and absolutely lip-smackingly gorgeous.
Chocolate ... ...are many different flavours of Ben and Jerry's ice cream and I am particularly tempted to try "From Russia with Buzz" and "Cherry Garcia", so you never know, an opinion about those flavours may also apprear on these pages someday soon;+).
This is not cheap ice cream, however, and it can cost anywhere from £2.99 in Asda to £3.99 in places like Blockbuster video, which, unfortunately makes this ice cream one for a very VERY special occasion or as ...

...so what better flavour of Ben & Jerry's Ice cream (or any other make) to buy than this one? For me this comes a close second to The Full Vermonty but apart from that there isn't one.
I only bought it because my local supermarket was selling it at £1.99 and it usually retails at £3.99 or thereabouts and so this was indeed a bargain at half price.
The tub says "the chocolate creation in this carton is downright decadent. We splurge on diary ice cream ... ...chocolate ice cream uncommonly tempting. Then we pack the carton, top to bottom, with extravagant chunks of thick, fudgy brownies." Which to me makes it sound like its worth a taste or two!

...one of my favourites is Ben and Jerry’s chocolate fudge brownie. Any Ben and Jerry product will do at a pinch, but this one is definitely close to the top of my shopping list.
It’s a delicious, creamy chocolate ice cream, with little chunks of chocolate fudge brownie mixed all the way through.
The taste is rich and creamy, and the smoothness of the ice cream is offset beautifully by the small, soft segments of chocolate fudge brownies.

Competitors to Ben and Jerry would include Haggen Daz and Carte D’or.
I do like both of these, but Ben and Jerry would most definitely be my favourite.

I love the different flavours and have tried a lot and love to try lots of the flavours even though I haven't quite tried them all yet. Ben & Jerry's founded in Vermont, this wasn't long ago only 1978. Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield are the names of the people who made it and they met back in 1963 in gym class in New York. ... ...particular flavour. Ben & Jerry's is a luxury ice cream brand sold in the major supermarkets and many cinemas and other concession stands. I've tried a few flavours, as well as trying other brands and the B&Js Chocolate Fudge Brownie is the only ice cream I ever buy now. It is a very rich, chocolately and moreish treat. The ice cream is creamy and has a real chocolate taste without being too sweet. Throughout the ice cream there are chunks of brownie and unlike other ... ...not skimped on these at all. There are lots of big chunks of soft, dark, chewy chocolate brownie making the ice cream a real treat to eat. It comes in a cardboard tub with a cardboard lid that tends to go a little soggy when going in and out of the freezer but it serves its purpose. The tubs are 500g and do at least 4 decent servings. Its best to get it out of the freezer 10 or 20 minutes before you want to serve it or you might just end up with ...
