    WHAT DO YOU GET? This comes in a carton made with cardboard. The carton is a circular shape and like all of the other products from the Ben and Jerry's range it is very attractively designed. You will see a lot of the colour purple on it and this varies from deep purple to a light and quite bright purple. The two colours blend in together perfectly and fit in with the lid. Which is coloured just like the rest of the carton except it is black around the rim. You will also see picture's of chocolate shaped like a fish on the left and right.     Ben And Jerrys icecream most commonly comes in a cardboard, brightly designed 500ml carton. 150ml cartons are also available. The carton is a chunky circular shape. The colours vary depending on the flavour of icecream it contains.     Ben & Jerry's Phish Food Ice-Cream - why didn't I discover this before now ? Oh my god, it's sex in a pot - no, it's even better than that. This is heaven. -> Quick Intro... It's Friday evening. I've had a crap day in the office and to top things off, we have no food in so I have to call in at Sainsburys on my way home to get something for tea.     Anyone who read my recent op on Tetrafin will have come to the conclusion that, although I'm amazingly knowledgeable, I'm hardly an expert on fish food. But, in an ever-increasing thirst to discover the secrets of piscine nutrition, I am always willing do a little research and have been known to devour the slightest morsel of information on the subject.     I hate Ben & Jerry’s! Why? They have raised my ice cream standards so far that nothing else will do (well, apart from a few other horrifyingly expensive luxury makes, that is). Before I go any further and try and convince you into living on this wonderful food, I must say that I am a chocoholic with a very sweet tooth, so you may wish to bear these traits in mind whilst reading.     Phew! After a weekend of hardly being able to get into Ciao, I'm back! I've changed to a new dial up number and will try to catch up with everything, now I'm hopefully sorted. Anyway, you don't want to listen to my inane ramblings, so on with the show... The new Food and Drink category is one of Ciao's better ideas.     Safeway supermarket that is: I decided to buy this instead of my usual calorific ice cream treat because Safeway was out of my favourite Haagen Dazs flavour. (How dare they, sob)!! There I was rummaging through the frozen depths of the freezer in desperate hope of finding some Pralines and Cream but to now avail.     Wahey, welcome to my 100th Ciao opinion! 6 months and still going strong! I've been a little bit down recently. Loads of work, no girlfriend etc (Sarah01, knows all aboout this). It's been a hard few weeks for me, as I start my GCSE's soon (I'm meant to be revising really!). So as a break I went down to my local Tesco (look, it was near), to go and get some food and stuff my face later on in the day to cheer me up. What did I buy?     I was not really very sure of what to expect when I first came across Ben and Jerry’s Phish Food ice-cream. Why would you mix those foul smelling little flakes that as a child I used to feed to my two pet goldfish, Tarzan and Killer Whale (May 1975 to August 1976 RIP), with that most wonderful of summer delights ice-cream. The riddle was solved thanks to a TGI Friday menu, which explained the real nature of the contents so when I noticed it on special offer (buy two for £5) I decided to give it a try.     ~ ~ One of the distinct advantages of having a young 12-year-old daughter when you are 52 years of age is that you don’t get a chance to grow old, gracefully or otherwise!
