    I had been a little run down of late, I feel so much better now but when I wasn’t feeling so well for quite a few weeks, under my eyes were extremely dark in colour. I do not suffer with dark circles too much even though I do not sleep very well, they are not bad for my mature age and so I am quite lucky. I did find when I looked into the mirror and gasped in the mornings that the circles were worse than any other time of the day. I am not a pretty sight at the best of times but I looked worse than normal lol. I was looking around in shops and on the internet for a quick fix to be honest ... more

    They say good things come to those who wait and on this occassion they would be right! Background At only 22 and having genetic dark circles under my eyes I felt a bit let down by nature. No matter how much sleep I get those dark rings under my eyes remain. Anyone who has read my review on revlons skinlights will know that I use it to camouflage and generally brighten my under eye area. However when the make up comes off, theyre back and I look knackered and old (er than I should do!) So I have been testing various gels, creams and cucumbers (!) to try to reduce the darkness but to no success ... more

    Ah, the dreaded dark circles. As the rest of my blemished face has improved over the last six months, so my self-consciousness about my panda eyes has grown. No amount of lie-ins or water-glugging have made much difference to them, so I'm led to believe that they must be genetic, and possibly made more apparent by my fair Nordic skin.     In my long and varied career of searching for the secret of eternal youth, I have come across many a fancy pot of cream which claims to do everything but clean the house for you. And in my travels and numerous stops at make up counters never have I been so impressed with the instant effect of an eye cream as I was with Benefit's Eyecon. I must point out before I go any further that I no longer use this product.     I purchased Benefit Eye-Con at Sephora last year when I had seen it on display near the cash desk. I read the box and the description and immediately decided that I had to have it. $28 US later, I was on the ride home excited at the promise of puff, and dark circle free eyes, this was the promise on the description of the product, as well as reducing wrinkles which was not one of my major concerns. I got home and performed my nightly routine of the clinique 3 step skincare system and dabbed the product under my eye and over the lid and brow bone. I then went to bed.     I'm a huge Benefit fan, and up till now hadn't come across a Benefit product that hadn't lived up to its expectations. Benefits Eye Con's purpose is to fade dark circles as well as de-puffing the area and smoothing the skin. While it does de-puff the area, there are plenty of other cheaper options on the high street as well as from Benefit (Benefits De-Puffing Eye Gel - FANTASTIC) tat do the job just as well.     This is a small tub of eye cream called "Eye con"! This product is used everyday as part of your daily routine to slowly get rid of dark circles under the eyes and to get rid of any fine lines! Being totally addicted to Benefit I had to get this as soon as it came out! And I have to say that this little cream has become part of my daily routine! Everyday i I cleanse my skin and moisturise lilke normal, then I apply a small dab of this under each eye and blend it upwards! I find it refreshes my eyes and some what wakes them up!     i bought a mini tester pot of this stuff from ebay as i was unsure of paying £20 for a full pot incase it didnt work! i am really pleased with the results. although my dark circles havent completely vanished they have faded considerably and i've only been using this for 2 weeks. great! i have tried so many silly gels and creams to de-puff my eyes and they either dried out my skin or stayed greasy and didnt rub in. as i love benefit products i decided to try this eyecon out. i apply the teeniest amount under my eyes morning and night, just dabbing it on gently, and it absorbs like a dream. it ... more

    2 Stars Quick review of Benefit Eye Con by pixief 28/01/2009
    I bought this before my wedding and luckily I got the Benefit boi-ing concealer too as it doesn't work on dark circles at all. Its a good under-eye cream when used in the morning before applying make up as it is quite thick and will help apply concealer but that is about it. I used it morning and evening like I was told to for about 1 1/2 months and no fading at all. I doubt I'll be buying it again.
