Benefit products are available form larger Boots stores (and are often on special as 3 for 2) as well as large department stores such as Selfridges and House Of Fraser.

...the fantastic (yet incredibly pricey) Benefit counter… uh oh!
** So what was suggested? ** Now you have to understand I’m on friendly, first name terms with the sales consultant at Benefit, I’m what you’d call a regular supporter of their cause! So in my usual fashion I explained how I’d absolutely have to hibernate throughout the whole winter if she couldn’t find me something to at least add a little rosy cheeked appeal to my face. And as usual, ... ...pink dandelion on the front. Benefit is written in black across the top – the trademark that I never fail to leave on display in my make up bag with Dandelion being written in contrasting white along the bottom. Upon opening the box I was greeted with an oddly shaped brush, much wider than normal blusher brushers and much flatter too. There was then a small plastic inlay separating the powder from the brush beneath which was a pink powder – slightly ...

Benefit seem to pride themselves on producing products that no-one ever really needs, but manage to market them in a way that convinces women that yes, they really must have a powder that claims to brighten their dull complexion. And that’s how I came to purchase Dandelion- a ballerina pink, face brightening powder designed to lure in those gullible make-up snobs who believe that a pretty powder can make you look perky at 7 o’clock in ... ...is to hang around the Benefit counter in Boots and when the lady comes up to you (I’d give her about 5 seconds- they’re pretty quick to lure in new customers!) get her to test it on you and see what you think.
The key thing to get the best out of this is that it should be applied across the forehead, brows, cheeks and chin, not simply on the cheeks like a blush. Although the colour looks very pink in the box, it does not have the same ...

...to be standing at the Benefit counter in my local Debenhams. I love BeneFit cosmetics. I just love the sheer girlieness of the packaging, and Benetint is my one Must-have product, but in general I look longingly at the packaging, only splashing out once in a blue moon. Thankfully Benefit products last months, so rarely need replacing. However this occasion was different. As I knelt at the shrine that is the Benefit counter I heard those wonderful ... ...that he knew how expensive Benefit products are, or if he thought it was normal to pay £21 for a bottle of blusher, but after some (albeit half-heated) protesting from me saying “oh no, I’m fine, don’t worry about me!” I looked around to see what would be the least expensive thing I could choose, but “Dandelion” caught my eye.
As I was reading the wonderful promises the packaging stated, boyf lifted the box from my hands and had made his way to ...

I purchased my first ever Benefit Dandelion box about a month ago. Previous to this i had tried and tested several blushers from Clinique to Avons own brand and never got the right mix. I personally got mine off ebay for a grand total of £18 but its purchasable in several cosmetic chains, including boots for £22.50. I realise this is quite a high price for anyone on a budget and compared to other blushers on the market but i personally recommend this above them for the following reasons. ~ The box contains 10g of 'highlighting powder' aka blusher ...

...a decent amount. Benefit describe this as an exquisite brightening face powder, finely spun with delicate mauves and pinks, to leave a petal like finish. It's supposed to instantly turn your complexion from dull to radiant, and leave you looking fresh and youthful. The powder itself is a lovely pretty light pink colour with a shimmery luminosity to it. It feels silky to touch and glides onto the skin effortlessly. A very small amount of the powder is enough to give a subtle healthy glow whilst maintaining a 'no make-up' look, or it can easily be layered up for a heavier rosy look. Even with a few layers of the blusher on the ...

Advantages: Rosy pink - just the right amount of girliness! Disadvantages: It COULD make a mess in your makeup bag.
...3 for 2 offer on Benefit products. So I started looking around. This was the first time I used Benefit, and I didn't realise how expensive they are - and at the same time how irresistible they all are! I was determined to take the offer of 3 for 2 on this occasion. Finally, a few minutes later, I asked the assistant to get the 3 products for me out from their storage cupboards, one of them, of course, Dandelion.
Then she said, "Oh, we've run out ... ...they just go on the same day." What?! So I reserved my Dandelion and went back a few days later. Now, super convinced that Dandelion is going to be great.
Dandelion comes in one shade - a very subtle shade of girly pink/salmon, perfectly balanced with a very fine hint of iridescent elements. The packaging is so wonderfully cute. It comes in a handy-sized square, olive green cardboard box, with a pretty picture of a dandelion. Inside the box you ...

...*very persuasive* lady at the benefit counter in boots. However, I was getting married and it seemed like a good excuse to splurge on overpriced make up. And I did wear it for my wedding, in the summer, in the south of France. And you really wouldn't have been able to tell I was wearing it at all. So, total waste of money? Not quite. I will explain:
Dandelion is a VERY pale pink colour - using it as blusher does basically nothing, and brushing it ... ...this experiment is meaningless].
Benefit have extended their range of these pressed powders to include the following colours: Georgia (peach). Dallas (bronzer). Hoola (darker bronzer) and now 10 (a pink and a brown in the same box). From this I am concluding that if you are going to invest in one of these, you need to try them out, consider your own skin tone ...

...that I brought from the Benefit range! I was convinced into buying this after reading lots of reviews about this product! The main artical which I read was in the good old gurly mag Cosmopolitan! "Well can you really see the difference?"
Not truely convinced at this point ... ...OVERALL OPINION?
I love Benefit stuff as you girlies will know! But this is one of my faves! I love this product it makes such a difference to the radience of my skin! It really just finishes off my look! I cant go out the house now without putting this on! I use this alongside the hoola as well just to add a few pinky tones to the browns of Hoola! Overall a great product to finish your look with! **********************************************************************

...look so pretty at 8am?’ Benefit Dandelion seemed to be an irresistible product. The product is described as a face brightening powder which is designed to perk up your complexion and leave you radiating beauty. Benefit Dandelion, however, is not one of them. Its fantastic stuff!
Being, as I am, of a somewhat pale (and interesting) complexion, I've tried various blushers in my time, with varying degrees of success/public humiliation. So when my mate (who is even paler than me) told me she swore by this stuff, I was straight out of the door to buy it.

My only serious gripes are the price - £22.50 (although all Benefit products cost a fair amount - just try to forget the pain of parting with that much money!) and the packaging. Advantages: Applied very lightly gives a nice glow to the cheeks. Disadvantages: It is way too expensive for what it is!
I bought Benefit's 'Dandelion' powder after hearing so many raves about it. I decided that if so many people were raving about it, it had to be worth a try.
I was shocked at the £22 price tag, but thought that it would be a small price to pay for the gorgeous glow that I had heard about.
Although some people love Benefit's packaging, I'm not really keen on it in general. 'Dandelion' comes in a cardboard box about 5 1/2 cm by 5 1/2 cm with a depth ... ...some blushers/powders, and is therefore not great for travelling with. It should be pointed out that the powder itself fills less than half of the depth of the box, so you don't get as much as it seems from looking at the outside of the box (you get 10g). The cardboard box is an olivey green which I am really not keen on, and has a picture of a pinky dandelion on the lid. The lid is very loose, so if you wanted to take Dandelion with you on your ...
