Begone you black-eyed monster!

Advantages: Gets rid of dark circles and bags; firms up eye area; easy to apply; soothing and de-stressing
Disadvantages: The price tag!

...After looking at the Benefit stand in Boots for about 2 seconds, I was approached by a Benefit lady who practically cooed with delight when I mentioned what I was looking for! Her eyes lit up and in a flash she was back, carrying a tiny tube of Ooh la Lift. The great thing about Benefit is that they're very big on you trying things out before you buy so you really know if something's going to work or not. Ooh la Lift is a lotion designed to de-puff ...
...my fair share of duff Benefit products before) I was rather dubious as to how well this would work. Appearance wise, this is pretty impressive- the overall effect is quite expensive looking and chic. It comes in a cute tube with a silver top (very classy looking!) and you can see the lotion, which is the palest pink, through the tube. It has a wand style applicator, making it very easy to use. The best way to use this is to just gently dab a few ...

...cigarettes, drugs, gambling and well, Benefit cosmetics. Now obviously the Benefit range is not dangerous in comparison to say a lion in need of a bite to eat (or just a bite), or finding oneself suspended on a trapeze without the necessary training or safety ropes: it’s certainly not as dangerous as finding oneself in the nightmare of Reality Television, but dangerous it most certainly is. It’s dangerous to the purse…or more ...
...evil ways of the sad Benefit junky that I must openly admit I am. Let’s say it together: “Ooh la lift”… Does that sound innocuous to you? Sound even rather silly? Easy to walk straight past without a second look? Oh my poor dear naïve friends, if only you knew… Ooh la lift, silly name or not, is simply a dream. It is a 7gram bottle of pink magic. It claims to “de-puff” and “firm” the delicate ...

Oh la Lift for pretty peepers

Advantages: light texture, appliator wand, nice packaging,
Disadvantages: £14.50 price tag

...found ourselves drawn to the benefit cosmetics counter. It was one of the days when you feel like buying beauty products, and oh my, alot of my student loan was spent on the afternoon. One of the products which found its way guiltily into my basket and then later my dressing table at home was the Oh La Lift Benefit product for the under eyes. It claims to lighten and de puff and firm up the delicate under eye area. It contains camomile and rose hip ...
...wise choice i think for benefit because you dont want chemicals and smells near your delicate eyes. This product can be applied as often as required. To apply, lightly dab a few dots of the product with the applicator wand to the under eye area. Then using your ring finger gently pat into the area. The warmth of your finger tip will help the creme to be absorbed. Do not rub this product in otherwise you may damage the delicate skin and the effect ...

...had been drawn towards the BeneFit counter. Now. I'll set the scene a little, I was by no means blameless. My feet have been minging this week, and Claire has this lovely Benefit cream (Sandal Scandal) that I finally felt guilty about stealing and thought I would invest in some of my own. Call it a birthday present to myself (one of many...). It's £27.50 a tub. A little tub. So I was standing there feeling vulnerable and weighing up the pros and ...
...on a wand. The usual Benefit type packaging, completely unique. You can dab it under your eyes above or below makeup 'as and when required'. The magic ingredients are raspberry extracts which firm and de-puff, and light reflective pigments which disguise the dark circles. And really, it works, immediately. Which is pretty much the only reason to part with £14.50 for a tiny tube of the stuff. God knows it won't last long. But you don't really need ...

Advantages: Lightens undereye area
Disadvantages: Doesn't cure bags, or de-puff undereye, may not be ok for dark skin

...I had never used Benefit products before so I didn't know what to expect but as I said I had read some good reviews about the brand as a whole. I looked on the Benefit website and the products had nice descriptions and cool looking packaging. They were shown on the Boots website so I went into Boots in Lancaster but this stupid town doesn't sell anything so I couldn't find any Benefit products. I bought it online for around £15 which was quite expensive, ...

Ooh la la ;)

Advantages: works on me, looks good :), benefit.
Disadvantages: expensive like most benefit products

Yet another benefit product review from me, so sorry if you're getting bored of them. Ooh La Lift was also part of the 'Realness of Concealness' Kit, but is also available in a tube by itself. *What it does* Ooh La lift is meant to lift the bags under your eyes when you apply a small amount to the under eye area and rub it in softly. I have tried quite a few creams that claim to do this, but until trying this one I'd always been disappointed. I ...
...on it swirly writing, and Benefit written round the top of the tube. Like most benefit products it does look good, and shallow though it seems, is one of the reasons why I like cosmetics from the Benefit range. *Cost* At £14.50 for a tube of this, it does seem a bit pricey. However it does work better than things like this from other makes, so it is worth spending a but more for something of this high quality. As I said earlier, it is also available ...

WOW! I feel shattered ! I have to go to work I look in the mirror and ARRRRGGHHH!!! I am confronted with huge bags under my eyes! So not glamour baby ,so not me, so not you so not good! So I run downstairs to the fridge ( as this is where I keep my ooh la lift! to make it extra cooling in the mornin! ) I run back up to the mirror and carefully dab with the neat applicator three or four little dabs of the magic potion under my eyes then I pat it gently ...

What A Pick-Me-Up!

Advantages: Realy works, looks natural.
Disadvantages: Pricey, likely to get you hooked on other pricey Benefit items.

...make-up bag is bursting with Benefit goodies. I think it's time i share my opinions with some other potential customers. Ooh La Lift is described as an 'under eye de-puffer'. Benefit has a reputation for producing products which really do what they say they do, and this is no exception. The applicator is the same as those found on lip-glosses: a small sort of sponge. It is extremely easy to use. Simply dab a small amount under the eye where you ...
...gives the right pressure, gently pat the cover-up (which is a thin, pale pink lotion) onto the skin, making sure not to rub it or spread it in. This product works because of the reflective pigments it contains. If smeared, they do not work effectively. A small amount of product can also be used on the inner and outer corners of the eyes to brighten the complexion and make eyes appear larger. Unlike concealers, which clog and look messy after application, ...

ooh la lift

Advantages: great
Disadvantages: better products out there

This was a cream that a was a bit sceptical about as it was a lot cheaper at £14.50 than a lot of other creams with the same benefits that are for sale on the market today, but I tried it anyway and I was not disappointed that's for sure. Ohh la lift feels like an instant eye lift, it firms up the under eye area so that your eyes look younger and fresh. To use it put three dots under your eye with the wand and gently pat into your skin with your ...
...the difference in you puffy under eye. Ooh La Lift can be used under or over makeup, but I think the best results are under the makeup. The cooling sensation that you feel will want you to keep using the product. This product does not have a fragrance to it. To see the results apply to one eye and look at the difference. There is not a huge difference, but there is a noticeable difference so for under £15 it is well worth it. ...

Ooh La cure to a hangover

Advantages: Cools, sooths and refreshes
Disadvantages: My bags under my eyes are still there!

...I would suggest using Benefit Lemonaid for the above effect! However what Ooh La Lift does do is cools and gives your eyes an instant perk me up. Amazing for a hangover! lol. "But an eye mask does the same" I hear you say! If you are on the go with terrible looking eyes, get some of this underneath and on your eye lids and you will instantly feel refreshed giving you the strenght to take on your hangover!! Advantages: oh so pretty eyes
Disadvantages: please be a little cheaper!!

...To be honest I love benefit and although pricey compared to many brands, benefit seems to have yet again found yet another amazing solution. All you need to do is apply a few dots underneath the eye gently pat along to make even and wow the eye actually looks brighter. Quick review of BeneFit Ooh La Lift

There are a lot of very positive reviews here but my own experience did not reflect much of what's been said as it absolutely does not de-puff. I on occassion wake up with puffy eyes, it's not every day or every Week but you can bet it will be when I have an interview or important date! I bought this hoping to rescue my face on this days. Well, I was disappointed, it didn't help at all and I get more results from cold teabags. What I will say is the product is white, so would obviously have some effect on dark circles cosmetically. However, with chaeper concealers on the market it's not value for money. ...
