Here I am with another Benefit review. If you've read many of my reviews before, then you'll probably have noticed that I love many benefit products, such as BadGal lash mascara and Boi-ing the concealer. However, no matter how great Benefit's products are, my mascara has a tendency to end up smudged below my eyes by the end of the day, making me look as though I have huge bags under my eyes that even industrial strength concealer can't do anything ...

I decided to purchase Benefit She Laq when i was a week from leaving for Mexico, and i originally wanted to purchase all waterproof make-up for the trip. Turns out i would have spent a fortune on an entire waterproof set of make-up and i was intrigued by a little blue bottle that caught my eye. It is presented in a black cardboard tube with the name in red writing and a picture of a fortune teller behind a crystal ball which shows a bottle of She Laq. I have to admit, when I was looking at the product I was a little cynical; I thought it was a lot of money for something that wouldn't work, so I held off buying it for a while. ...In America you can get Benefit products slightly cheaper than you can over here, I can't remeber the exact price I paid, but I know that it was cheaper than the £18.50 that Boots Online charge for it. This is fantastic my life would never be the same it. This is great for going on holiday as if you are in the pool are going out for the night this once you have applied She Laq on you eye shadow, mascara or your liners you make up will stay put no matter how many tissue you use which is what every girl needs on holiday as in the heat you could be reapplying you make up all night. She Laq is a clear liquid and is a makeup sealer and for 15ml costs ...
...with a set of mini brushes from a mascara brush to various other size brushes, so that you can apply it easily the pot of She Laq has a brush in the top as well. Brush it over any of the makeup that you would like a waterproof barrier across then allow it to dry for a few minutes before touching it for best results. The ladies at benefit recommended i give this a go and, yes, it did the job very well both used OVER the line when drawn with shadow and water, and then when i used the She-laq to dampen the brush. The line stayed put until i used cleanser to remove it. I then also tried using it to fix eye shadow in place across my lids themselves. Again, it did the trick, however my word of warning/tip, is that the She-Laq tends to water down the effect ...
...to apply more eye shadow than usual to get the same effect. If you use it to fix lipstick, i got best result by exfoliating my lips first and then applying a light lip balm. In answer to some questions, i bought mine from a benfit concession at Boots (and therefore got reward points on it too! Bonus!). It costs £18.50, which may seem pricey, but saved me a fortune on eyeliners and reapplying lipsticks constantly! Also, a little goes a long way, ...
