i bought a ds lite last xmas 4 my daughter because i could not get 1 around anywhere i seen bestpricebrands and thought thank god yes she can have now bought it ,then i had a email saying that they did a mistake with the price ,so they said they would refund my money . i have not seen that money go into my account i emailed them 4 a long time after ,but nothing so i gave up until it got me thinking now that xmas is around again ,i have email them now they are trying 2 fog me off but not this time i will keep sending emails and everything until i get my money i would never gone if i knew about this site

Bought an Olympus E-510 at a fantastic price, it arrived 3days after order placement, yes, from america. UPS Tracking details kept me up to date. Item arrived, no tax to pay. Perfect condition. Warranty direct with Olympus, manuals in english. US plu on the charger but they supplied an adapter. Overall 5* Guess i was lucky!

I bought a Sony DSCW150, it was way below the price of other companies. I ghave to admit I di dnot do my homework, went and bought the camera, and only after that check the reviews about the company, which got me scared. In short, the communications with customers are not good, the web site is deceiving, but the price was right, and after a couple of mails I got a tracker and the goods were delivered. Taking into account others'comments, maybe I was lucky They should clearly state that they are not a UK company.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. THESE PEOPLE ARE CROOKS. Ordered a lens 10 days ago only to find that the order had been cancelled but my money had been taken from my CC. Still waiting for the money to be refunded.

I ordered an ipod nano 8gb black from this retailer. My nephew specifically wanted a 3rd generation model rather than the newest. A google search for "ipod nano 8gb black 3rd generaion" led me to Best Priced Brands at £99.99. I checked the photo and technical specs to ensure it was indeed a 3g ipod... all fine so I ordered it. AVOID THIS COMPANY!!!!!!! This is an American company posing as a UK company. I recently ordered a Canon Ixus 85 IS. All indications on the web-site were that this was the camera I was ordering (photo / title / buyer confirmation, etc) but I received the US branded version of the camera instead, which came with with a cheap looking US/UK power adaptor for use with the charger. Not suitable as a gift to my lovely wife. I contacted bestpricedbrands about this and they stated that I would be subject to a 20% restocking fee if I returned the item. I bought another camera form Amazon.co.uk instead. I would rather throw the US one in the river than allow these crooks to profit from me twice. AVOID THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!

I found BPB very unreliable, i had to keep emailing them and chasing up my order because they didn't keep me informed of anything!., i was told twice that my order had arrived at their warehouse and was ready to be shipped to me, however i was then told that i had been misinformed and that my item hadn't even arrived at their warehouse yet!. Having ordered a Canon Ixus digital camera from this company because they were far and away the cheapest, I was horrified to read such poor reviews afterwards. I must state for the record however that my order was delivered by UPS in 5 days, there were absolutely no surcharges or customs charges as other reviewers have reported, the packaging was clearly and correctly marked as "photographic equipment" and they even included in the box a plug adaptor to convert the battery charger from US to UK configuration. I would not hesitate to use them again, I cannot fault them one iota.

Bought a Panasonic DMC FS5 digital camera on Wednesday - they were the cheapest outlet in the UK. Was surprised, as others have been as well, to find the item, in stock, was being shipped from LA, USA. Camera arrived on the Friday. You can't get better service than that! Only downside is that a free camera bag that was advertised did not arrive - they say it was not included. I beg to differ. In the UK there is a law about distance buying - ie you can return the goods within a certain time for a refund - this apparantly does not apply to firms in the USA. I would buy from them again - but be a bit more careful.

Hi All, There is a lot of bad word about Best Priced Brands website. I also felt the same for a time being. When I got my T70 camera, I was asked to pay additional £20 for VAT, as the camera was shipped from US. I came to know then only that the business is done from USA, and that's why we have to pay extra VAT, which was not mentioned clearly on the website though.
