    Bought a Panasonic Lumix Z3 from bestpricedbrands as It was the best price around.I too thought it was a Uk company .I paid via paypal my money was taken but i had no confirmation of order and could find a uk address or phone number just an email contact.I emailed them 3 times but no reply.This send me to do a search and i was horrified to find this site. I was then sent a message from UPS to say my order was on it's way and was able to track it's every move .     The site is not a UK site. I assumed a co.uk must be - so I bought. The item a Canon IXUS 70 was the cheapest I could find. The site also mentions better delivety than Royal Mail ! I ordered 31 Dec as the site said 50 in stock. On the 4th Jan I sent an email as I had not received any communication about despatch. I received despatch email on Sat 5th at 8 pm UK time. Seemed a funny time to despatch ! I assumed if it was packed in uk, it would take 2 to 3 days to arrive. It arrived on the 15th - i.e. 15 days after order.     I ordered a Canon G9 camera from Best Priced Brands on Jan 7th and payed using Paypal. I was not aware at the time that this company is based in the USA. After I had paid for the item I received an e-mail (on the same day) from their support stating the order had been received. Then I read many reviews about their service and started to get worried. I was concerned that the item would not have a UK guarantee and that I might be liable for import duty. I sent an e-mail asking for tracking information and received nothing.     I have seen alot of negative reviews about BestPricedBrands saying be careful, stay clear etc, but my experience with them has been totally different. I ordered a digital camera from them last week when i found their price for it the cheapest, however, i have to agree when i found out that the item was going to be shipped from America i was a little concerned because it didn't state this on the website, if it did it wasn't clear.     I purchased a DS Lite for my son, which took a couple of weeks to arrive. The packaging declared the item to be a low value "game", so again, if opened by customs I would have been presented with a large import tax bill. Unfortunately, the power supply failed to work. I managed to get through (eventually) to arrange it's replacement. A Fed-Ex van arrived to take the power supply back, but even after a month, I have heard nothing.     DO NOT USE, US COMPANY USING A UK WEB ADDRESS. Ordered an expensive camera, eventually arrived stuffed in a box with no protection. Although it amazingly still worked. Customs declaration on box said 'Game', luckily they didn't check. Realised it was a US co, Not UK, so warranty void. Worried because of packaging it would sooner or later develop a fault.     DO NOT BUY FROM BESTPRICEBRANDS.CO.UK - BIG SCAM COMPANY This is a company that presents itself as a UK company but in fact it's in US. They sell FAULTY EQUIPMENT and once you receive the goods they don't reply to you emails (no telephone number). I purchased a Sony Vaio laptop for £800. Once it has arrived I realized it was for US market only, it had plug with a cheap adaptor and a guarantee valid in US only.     Well, I can only speak as I find, and this has to be one of the smoothest internet purchases I have made in a long time. I made the purchase before reading what others thought of this company, and immediately blocked my credit card payment thinking I was going to be the victim of a scam. How wrong could I be (payment now sent). Camera (Canon S5 Powershot) ordered very late on Saturday evening and arrived safely via UPS on the following Wednesday morning.     WARNING. This company conceals the fact they are selling NON-UK SPEC merchandise, which DOES NOT HAVE UK WARRANTY OR HARDWARE. 1. Ordered Canon IXUS 70, have received a USA version in wrong colour. 2. Supplied with aftermarket UK adaptor plug so slimline Cannon charger with fold away prongs is no longer slimline or compact.
