Big Beach Sports - Fun in the Sun
I am a big fan of the Wii. We've had ours now for about 2 years and are still playing it and still getting a lot of enjoyment out of it, especially when we have a big group of friends around for a tournament. I generally just like to play Wii sports because I think it's probably the best game around but we had friends round a few weeks ago and decided to get a new game for a challenge. We decided on the newly released ... ...that summer holiday feeling.
Big Beach Sports for the Wii includes various games, set on the beach that you can play against each other. The games included are beach volleyball, beach cricket, beach soccer, beach American Football, beach disc golf and beach bocce ball. The set up of the game is like most other Wii games. The controller allows you to pick your players and then pick which game you want to play. There are various interesting characters ...

Wii Big Beach Sports game….
The Wii Big Beach Sports was one of two games that were included in the package when we purchased the Wii console from Argos. Usually you would be looking at paying around £15 for the game new but I expect you can pick it up for a much cheaper amount second hand.
We chose the Beach Sports game as one of our included games because it seemed like you were getting more games for your money. The game itself has six different ... ...sports.
Overall, the Wii Big Beach Sports game is an okay one to have in your collection. I think if it is bought in a package like ours was then its not too bad but I don't think I would have gone out and bought it on its own. I do wish we had chosen more wisely and perhaps got a slightly better game with better graphics and longer game play. As although this one does have many different games to play in one I feel that the time spent playing is ...

...Conclusion
The team games in Big Beach Sports are good fun with family or friends and should offer many hours of playing, fighting, shouting and general humiliation for all.
Recommendation - If you can get this for £12.99 or less its well worth it, don't pay £20 for it. ...

Advantages: Extends the concept of Wii sports to a few new games. Cricket and Volleyball aren't bad. Disadvantages: Most of the games are either poorly executed or similar to the ones in Wii Sports.
...it get the same treatment? Big Beach Sports might just be worth a look for you. It's largely got the same strengths as its precursor too; the games are simple to pick up and controlled by gestures from the Wii-mote allowing you to act out your sporting prowess in the same sort of ridiculous fashion for any onlookers present. (Experienced players will, of course, have figured out that you can get by with small gestures rather than have to act everything ... ...initial computer opponents are also relatively easy meat but eventually ramp up to something you'll need a little bit more skill to dispatch. Obviously it's far more fun against human players, particularly if you can find someone at about the same level as you. That makes it a passable party game particularly with up to four players getting involved, assuming you've got enough Wii-motes to hand. The sports are a bit of a mishmash; Bocce and Disk ...

Advantages: Fun, cheap Disadvantages: Some games overly simple / monotonous
I had fancied getting Big Beach Sports for the Wii for a while after liking the look of the TV adverts which were showing a little ago and I was fortunate enough to be given it as a birthday present a few weeks ago.
The game is best thought of as an extension to Wii sports which comes with the standard Wii console, as it is made up of 4 sports games with relatively simple graphics and sounds.
As the name suggests the games are those played on the ... ...be drawn to the Wii sports tennis game in that it is for between 1 and 4 players (each player requires a Wimote) with player movement being automatically controlled, the player themselves only needs to control the actual hitting of the ball. Unfortunately the game play falls short of the tennis game as it is more complex and there seems to be less control over the pace and direction of where the ball goes so it can get a little tedious.
The beach ...

===Main Opinion===
A lot of reviews basically just say how rubbish this game is but it really is not that bad.
Its good fun especially for the price for which I paid:
Amazon - £12.98
The various sports use different wii remote actions, which coincide with the real actions of the various sports.
Volleyball probably uses most actions compared with ...

Advantages: Cricket game is good Disadvantages: Too basic and no technique required.
I bought Big Beach Sports on impulse and also because it has a cricket game on it.
In total there are 6 sports: cricket, voleyball, frisbee, football, american football and boules.
Apart from the cricket, I've only played each sport a few times mainly due to some of them being pointless and either too difficult or too easy.
The football, for example doesn't seem to have any skill factor or exercise potential either as do none of the games.
The ... ...usually you do not get run out because the team players move too slowly. There is some technique when batting and bowling, but on the whole it is a very basic game.
This may be a good game for kids, but is no replacement for wii sports or wii fit.
On a positive note, you can usually get this game for a reasonable price. ...

Advantages: cheap Disadvantages: not very entertaining
Distinctly average Wii Sports copy- the games are very basic control wise indeed and while they are ok in multi player they are pretty annoying in single player mode, especially the team games (american football, volleyball and 'proper' football) where the computer AI moves your players somewhat irratically around for you. The bizarre only 2 a side (???) American football is especially weak.
Still, there's nothing wrong with a multiplayer boules ...

Advantages: Easy to understand. Disadvantages: A little repeatative and dull
This is my first review so please bare with me. Me and my partner brought this game about a week ago from our local gamestation. First impressions of the game was that it was a little basic. The amount of control that you have over the players in the various games are limited. Saying this, a couple of the games, especially the beach football did entertain me for a number of matches before I got a little bored of the repeatative moves. I guessing ... ...for the British market as the beach football is called beach soccer and there is a golf like game where you throw a frisbe at a target (similar to the golf game on wii sports). If you are thinking of buying this game for the younger person then it could keep them busy for an hour or so before they will want to try something else.
This game definately isn't one of the best that I have recently played on the wii. ...

Advantages: Cricket game Disadvantages: Very basic
I bought this game a few weeks ago as a relief from revision, on the face of it the game is good fun, especially in the multi player mode. However, the game lacks depth and myself and friends soon found that we had sampled all of the sports available without wanting to go back to some of them.
On the plus side i was really pleased to finally see a cricket game on the Wii and this was definitely the highlight.
All of the games are fairly easy to ...

we love all the sports games on the wii but didn't rate this one at all .

Advantages: Graphics are good Disadvantages: Very Boring same thing over and over again
Loved the Wii play so was looking forward to getting this game, unfortunatley after playing for about 30 mins realised that I was going to be dissapointed, the gameplay is just not there on any of the sports really overall its very basic, graphics are ok, I just found i was swinging the remote and pressing the button and most of the time on all the games the outcome i got was pretty much the same, 4 runs at cricket, birdie on the golf, vey repetitive ... ...we have a few friends over until we get bored. Paid £20.00 so not to bad for a game would say it would be more enjoyable for a little ones but dont expect to keep them occupied for to long. On the whole if you want a sports game stick to wii play this game doesent even come close, bel;iev me you will soon get bored ...
