Advantages: Tastes lovely, reminds me of nan, quite cheap, easy to find Disadvantages: None
I've been eating Billy Bear Sliced Sausage for years now, and don't ever intend to give up! Mum started to buy this very yummy meat when me and my brother were very little, to encourage us to eat more, I think, as we were both very fussy eaters when we were small - oh, how times have changed. I couldn't stand meat when I was little and mum tried every which way possible to get me to eat it - then she hit on Billy Bear Sausage Slices and there was ... ...weird and wonderful things, like Billy Bear Sausage. So, she's kind of carried on the 'tradition' and we continue to eat it!
I love to eat it with Cadbury's Instant Smashed Potato with baked beans or tinned spaghetti. Dad says it's full of rubbish, and it may well be, but it certainly tastes very nice, so I'm not going to stop eating it. Nan (and mum) buy it from Tesco from the deli counter, and they usually get about ten slices of it. It's not ...

...to get some.
The billy bear sausage comes in slices that can b e bought from the deli coulnter in smaller stores and also in sealed packs (like ham), it comes in the shape of a teddy bears freindly face with big eyes and smile.
I have a little brother who as a kid had been through many operations and it was a game to get him to eat much of anything so my parents tried everything to try and persuade him to eat. this was one of the products they ... ...lunch, but after tasting a Billy Bear sandwich I really didn't care, it had such a unique but very pleasant taste, nothing like any other sandwich slice i had tasted before.
On opening the packet (eventually) it the smell hits you, in a nice way though. The taste is a bit like a mild smoked sausage but it actually comes in slices and can have many other uses other than sandwiches, even eaten alone to coax fussy eaters into eating their meals, I ...

Billy Bear Sausage is made from Turkey and Pork and can be purchased from Tesco amongst other supermarkets, either in packets similar to ham which contain 5 slices or from the Deli Counter. Billy Bear is ideal for a childs lunchbox as the cute design will encourage a child to eat there dinner. It can also be served with salad for a more healthy option.

Billy Bear is also packaged in a protective atmosphere and as allergy's go the recipe contains no nuts, the factory does not handle nuts but the ingredients may contain nuts. ...seeing children at school having Billy Bear as a treat in their lunch box. I never was allowed it myself so years later, I decided, with a friend, now was the time to see if the dream matched reality.

It has an over processed texture prob. to hide the fact its made from chicken feet and other various animal body parts! The taste is like old ham... slightly sour and a bit like liver.
This product is truely rank and I don't think children or adults alike should be allowed to eat it. Ban Billy Bear!!! ...
