After giving birth to my 2nd child... with one of her 1st winter coughs last year I decided to look for a humidifier... I had suffered most winters for 10 years with my son having croup and spent nights with him in the shower trying to get him breathing better or even days in Casualty with him on oxygen to help (a condition they say children grow out of by 7yrs old.... but he was 10 when he last was in hospital with it) This has got to be my best ever purchase on Ebay I really didn't have a clue what I needed.... except steam in a room, so went on the hunt. I needed a humidifier for my house, but didn't know where to start. Some of my friends have them so I asked for advice. Some had more expensive ones, some had cheaper ones, but I must say that compared with any of theirs this is by far the best value for money humidifier! It works really well and isn't a huge, ugly monstrosity like some others that I have seen about! Also, the price in my opinion is very reasonable! However, the noise it makes is a bit annoying if it is the only thing in the room, but i would say this is definatley not a negative point, just something else to take into ... more
