Advantages Advantages Leaves skin feeling smooth and clean, Easy to use, Effective

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Pricey

Yesterday I told you about my pampering day when I used the oh so painful Immac wax. Well, another product I dug out of my full to the brim toiletries box (note: not bag, I buy so many toiletries in the average month that I now have to use a box! lol) was a pore refining treatment from Biore. I wasn't really expecting much of a result from these as I've been blessed with really clear skin, in fact the last spot I had erupt on my face was about 8 years ago - apart from the one that came up the day before I was due to get my photo taken for the newspaper but I don't put this down to being a spot ... more

Advantages Advantages Easy to use, if you read the directions.

Disadvantages Disadvantages More expensive than the Ponds brand

You might be wondering why a woman of my age would need to use pore cleaning strips (or then again you may be wonder why a woman of my age didn't sooner! lol) Through the liver spots and wrinkles (sounds lovely doesn't it!) I still have those large pores that tend to become clogged with dirt. Yuck! If you have managed to read through that first paragraph and are still with me, read on. Trust me, it does get better. When I saw the advertisement for the Pond's clear pore strips on television, I decided to try them. I liked the way they made my skin feel and look. Having gone through one box I ... more

    Advantages Advantages "More gentle"?

Disadvantages Disadvantages They do not work

I love nose strips, so bought these, too. I don´t think they´re as effective at all. So, I do what I did before: use nose strips on my chin and forehead, too! I recommend you do the same. I think this new strip is just a spin-off from the original, and they might be "more gentle" on purpose. Well, my blackheads don´t deserve to be treated gently. Out with them, I say! I know it says "use on nose only" on the pack (nose strips), but that´s just rubbish. Obviously they want you to buy the nose strips AND the forehead strips AND the single-pore strips AND...get the drift? Stick with the nose ... more

Advantages Advantages get's rid of blackheads

Disadvantages Disadvantages not the most sensetive product for the skin

Pore strips, one of those things if you can do with out them it is better not to use them But if you are like me and you do suffer from blackheads it is a must. There is a down side they don't actually prevent blackheads from coming back, well at list they get rid of them right. Well if you do decide to use them, make sure that you do read all the cautions and do not use it on the irritated skin. And do not try to rip it of if it is painful, you will do more harm then good, moisten the strip first instead. In any case I do believe that Biore face strips are definitely the best there is and I ... more
