It's remarkable. The more devices we acquire to keep us in touch with the world around us, the less we actually communicate with each other. How many times have you seen two people sitting in a pub, both industriously typing on their phones, PDAs or laptops, and utterly ignoring the person...

It was time for an upgrade from my old mobile phone to a new one, and I spent a whole month trying to decide which new phone to buy. I soon narrowed it down to a BlackBerry Bold 9000 and the Nokia E71 - both, I was told, are "fantastic phones", and after having a play with the BlackBerry Bold and...

The commencement of a new job saw me presented with a brick like XDA device which truth be told was useless. E-mails had to be typed using a stylus which frankly took hours to write and every time the battery died it had to be sent back to IT while they rebuilt it from scratch after it managed to...

Introduction I’ve had my Blackberry Bold 9000 for about 2 months now. It’s definitely changed the way that I communicate in certain respects and made my life a little bit easier in lots of small ways. I find that I am much more update to date with things, like emails and Facebook updates. It...

“The Bold and the Beautiful”

Great looking, very easy to use

Poor Battery

After recently getting the Blackberry Bold I thought I'd share my thoughts about it. Traditionally a Blackberry is known for being solely aimed at the business market with one of its main selling points being the fact that you have constant email access which is of course very important for some...

Size is not for everyone.

What did we do before the blackberry? Today we can take for granted the ability to send an e-mail from this small handheld device that fits in your pocket? It’s crazy! To me the blackberry bold is the first real step blackberry have made to corner the consumer handphone market and is without a...

Nice design, large quantity of features

Very expensive, easily damaged

This is an excellent phone for both businessmen and gadget-lovers alike. It has a wide array of features and functions to keep anybody connected with the rest of the world, whilst keeping them entertained at the same time! Design The phone has a very pleasing design, with a nice glossy black...

Freedom to surf and do other things.

Very expensive, ill-fitting pouch.

The Blackberry has evolved in society and has become an icon of business, and a regular sight and sound on train and tube journeys in and around London. Business men take advantage of its almost flawless e-mail feature, which allows them to send and receive e-mail on the move. I am not a business...

Poor Camera Quality, Heavy & Bulky

For all you techy review readers, I warn you now this may be a far cry from what you are used to reading! This is my first 'tech' review so bear with me, I am a typical girl in the sense technology can sometime repel me but I felt like giving it a go! Nowdays there are two phone brands which...

battery life can be small

Okay so I admit it im a netaholic. I love the internet and feel totally disconnected without it so I knew that my next phone even though I'm not a business person would be a blackberry. As I am on Three I had little choice which in Blackberry- in fact the Bold was the only choice but after...

Today I want to share my opinions about BlackBerry Bold 9000, which is a classic smartphone and suitable for both business and normal usage. I own it about half a year now, so my experience should be enough to sum up some positive and negative aspects arranged according to its components...

May not be for those who prefer a smaller phone.

I have previously been an owner of the blackberry curve and pearl and the bold by far is the best phone I have ever laid my hands on. The phone is stylish and the format is set out in a clear and easy to use way. Although fonts are limited, the new fonts added to the bold are nicer to look at...

The Black berry 9000 is slightly wider than most phones but as you can imagine it has lots of data to store, the package set up through vodafone was a very good deal £35 per month which included a free Blackberry, unlimited texts, 500 minutes, and unlimited access to the internet/facebook. The phone is quite hard to understand initially and if the shop you get the phone from does not set you up properly you may spend days wondering why you can not access the internet. The phone also often resets itself for security purposes im told which can become a pain and there will be a message on the screen with error reseting. I recommend you read through the instructions carefully and once you know what you are doing you will love the phone.
