    Advantages Advantages Professional, Fashionable, Sexy

    Disadvantages Disadvantages camera, price

My name is Mariana, and I am a blackberry addict. Having put this out there, I feel I must explain myself. I have always been much of a phone enthusiast, but for high tech features and rather for their beauty. With the in mind, I have always fallen in love with the wrong types. I have written a short review on the not so delightful Prada LG model which was a beautiful headache. I have previously bought the likes of the Chocolate LG, the Razr, the V60i... and the list goes back to good old days when the Motorola Startek was a status symbol. I know for a fact that I am not the only one out there ... more

Advantages Advantages Multitasking, GPS, large screen, Qwerty keyboard

Disadvantages Disadvantages Not many, except keyboard locking and holster use.

In a nutshell, Blackberry phones seemed to be on the expensive end of the market and many people who have them seemed to be pleased. So I decided to check it out. The first thing you notice is the complication and a different style of use. This takes time to get used to. The roller-ball is a cross between a pointer mouse and the stylus system on other PDAs. And yes if you previously own a Windows based PDA, you will probably be looking for a stylus to poke the screen with! You get used to it. But the Qwerty keyboard more than replaces the clumsy stylus. One of the biggest drawbacks of stylus ... more

Advantages Advantages BBM, Push e-mails, Beautiful interface, Easy customisation, Enhanced video media player, QWERTY keyboard

Disadvantages Disadvantages GPRS internet connection, as opposed to 3G or Wi-Fi

Not only is the Blackberry Curve 8300 smartphone from RIM both the smallest and lightest Blacberry smartphone, it is also one of the best designs RIM has produced. Although the phone is only slightly smaller than earlier models, it is far more compact and supposedly 20% lighter, which really makes a difference either in your bag or pocket, enabling it easier to carry it around with you throughout the day. The colour display is truly impressive, and alternative themes come with the phone, and are also available for download from various websites. Similar to the pearl, it is equipped with a ... more

Advantages Advantages high quality calls,internet/email access, looks great, easy to use

Disadvantages Disadvantages expencive, but there are some remarkable deals out there

After owning one of these its hard to imagine going back to an ordinary phone. This phone has just about every function available on a modern phone of today. high quality calls, easy internet access,3+mg camera,mp3 player and much more.Styleish and with a high show off value. I thought I was going to find this phone a little to large but the slight curve of the design makes it fit comfortably into your pocket/bag with ease and its certainly not too heavy. The screen is simply massive and very clear in all functions, email and video playback are particually good. One of the main reasons I ... more

Advantages Advantages Email push, landscape screen, tons of features, QWERTY keyboard + + +

Disadvantages Disadvantages None really, keys a bit small if you have large hands.

Although the Curve 8300 is small with a smooth, curved case and soft edges it still comes with powerful user friendly, business focused features. It had a solid reassuring feel in my hand even though it's also nice and light at 111g. Internal Flash memory of 64Mb can be extended by inserting a Micro SD memory card. The large, high resolution, 65,000 colour viewing screen is light sensitive; automatically adjusting the light level of the display for good viewing in all light conditions. I found this to work very well. Navigating the Curve 8300 was a dream; it has trackball navigation, dedicated ... more

Advantages Advantages fantastic phone in general! all round.

Disadvantages Disadvantages trackball can get stuff stuck in it. no video camera

Lovely phone. I had a Blackberry Curve before moving onto the Blackberry Storm, you can see my review for Blackberry Storm in my reviews. I had this phoone for over a year I really loved it and the only reason I changed it was because like anyone I wanted the next best thing. The phone looks and feels great it truly feels like a Blackberry is is wide and smooth. The camera was reasonably good and at the time I think it was one of the best cameras, now that the phone is a bit older it is probably obsolete middle of the range camera. Good flash photos taken quick and reasonably good. The phone ... more

Advantages Advantages Easy to use, lots of features, quick internet browsing on the go,

Disadvantages Disadvantages battery life isn't that long

I have recently got the Blackberry Curve 8900 and I love it. It's the best phone I've ever had. I have it on a contract with Orange and it costs me £35 per month for 600 minutes and unlimited texts (which is good as I'm a constant texter!) - I also opted to pay an extra £5 a month for internet access on my phone, which is a must-have with a blackberry to really use all it's features. I love the full QUERTY keypad, it makes texting so quick and easy, it even has a spell check for my texts and they appear more like emails, so there is no need anymore for "text language"! The menu's are really ... more

Advantages Advantages Slim design, good sound quality

Disadvantages Disadvantages Hands free kit not the best

This is the second Blackberry device I own, and compared to the previous one it is more reliable and has some extra features such as Maps, a Camera, and a middle tracker rather than the side scroller. I compared this to the Pearl, and the QWERTY keyboard was much easier to use, and are not too sensitive. Also, there is now a new key which allows you to write in capital letters. The screen is very clear and detailed, and the sound quality, even on loudspeaker, is brilliant. The hands free cable and earphone could do with a bit more work, but overall, the phone is better than its predecessors ... more

Advantages Advantages lightweight, customisable, multiple applications, camera, many more.

Disadvantages Disadvantages confusing and complicated at first

The blackberry curve is a sleek and lightweight business device. The large screen, simple menu and qwerty keyboard make using the curve a delight. At first the curve takes a bit of time and patience to get used to, but after a few days you will be fully complacent with its workings. The curve is an excellent device which can be customised to the users needs. The curve comes packed with useful applications and even one very addictive game. The camera is of great quality and good for every day use. Hundreds of applications can be downloaded to the device, via the Internet, including games, word ... more

Advantages Advantages Great al rounder, very easy to use and looks fantastic

Disadvantages Disadvantages No Video capture and poor internet service

Unlike any of its predecessors, the Blackberry curve 8300 is not just aimed at the business market. With more multimedia aspects such as a 2megapixel camera, media player and games it is a fantastic all rounder. All aspects of this phone have been dramtically improved. As well as the phone looking fantastic, it is incredibly easy to use as the re-designed qwerty keyboard is better then ever. The phones ergonomics are incredible and i am a big fan of the trackball navagation system. Although it is a massive steop in the right direction, there are a few areas in which the Blackberry curve still ... more
