    Blackberry Curve 8520 I have had this same blackberry for the past three years, it was a christmas present and it was bought from the Orange store - this is the network I have used for the three years I have had the phone.     Advantages Advantages small, good call quality, nice clear music, lovely touchpad and feels good

    Disadvantages Disadvantages no 3G, small screen, slow cpu, bad internet experience and fails day after warranty runs out

    The blackberry curve 8520! We bought this in Lilac as an upgrade for my sister's phone. I bought the phone as a last minute decision on a day when I just felt like spending! The buy was also for me to decide if I would like to buy a blackberry for myself in the future as id never had any experience with them beforehand. Choosing a blackberry for us was easy; the prices are quite extravagant for some of these phones!     For the last year I've had two contract phones, one a fancy phone with lots of minutes, texts and internet access and a second, more basic phone with a low contract price. Although you could probably describe me as a bit of a Samsung fan girl (I love my Galaxy S2), when it came time to upgrade my cheaper contract I decided to verge away from them and try a Blackberry.     As my phone gets upgraded next week I thought I would write about my experience I have had with my Blackberry. I have owned this model for the last two years, but certainly not without its ups and downs.     Advantages Advantages good looks, easy to use, practical and good features

    Disadvantages Disadvantages design isn't as sleek as the Iphone. Battery life could be improved

    Design My Blackberry phone is black but you can get these in various other colours like pink, purple, white and silver. You can get cases for these too if you want a pattern. I did have a hello kitty case on mine but I kept dropping my phone and it eventually broke the case which is a good thing because I didn't break my phone. The screen is a good size measuring approximately 2.5 inches down and 3 inches across these are just a rough estimate but the screen this size allows you to see a clear background picture without the time battery connection and various other things being in the way.     For around the last 5 years I have had various Blackberry’s. Never really wanting to jump on the iPhone bandwagon (why would I when I have an iPad!), I briefly had one of the first ones for about 6 months and hated it, so I have always stayed loyal to Blackberry. The current model I have is the 8520 which I have had for just short of 24 months and which will be upgraded the week before Christmas.
