Advantages Advantages Everything, I love this phone

Disadvantages Disadvantages No camera flash, full camera zoon isn't good quality

*Why did I want this product?* My last Blackberry, which was a trusted 8310 was perfect for me although a little basic and after a few years of having this phone I was getting board and wanting an upgrade. I knew I would be sticking with Blackberry even though there is an array of mobile phones on the market it really is hard to know what is right for you. At the time I was looking for my new Blackberry I was underside whether to upgrade to another Curve or go for a Bold 9780, which is what my husband currently has. In the end and due to price I went for Blackberry Curve 3G 9300. *What are the ... more

Advantages Advantages Great range applications, Fantastic design, BBM, Super security

Disadvantages Disadvantages Very difficult set-up, Appalling battery life and I suffered terrible technical problems

I bought the Blackberry Curve 9300 after listening to all of my friends rave about it for about 3hours. The phone I had at the time was fine, there was nothing wrong with it, but I fancied a new phone - and what better phone than a phone that everyone was raving about. It was quite expensive I thought for a phone, as it was £100, but then again my friends had said that the features and quality of the phone reflected the price. So, after a long and exhausting walk to Carphone Warehouse, in the snow, I finally went and got a Blackberry Curve 9300. Looks & Design The Blackberry 9300 is a ... more

Blackberry Curve 3G 9300 Introduction Previously I had a Samsung Tocco Lite which I bought due to my old phone broke after mistakenly been put in the washing machine, the Tocco didn't last for long either when i dropped it in my drink. I got the phone replaced with my insurance deal but the Tocco didn't even last a year before the touch screen ended up freezing. So overall I dont have much luck with phones, due to my Tocco becoming unfixable, 02 offered to upgrade me using my pay monthy contract so I would renew it and I would get a new phone, perfect! My sister recently had her birthday and ... more

Advantages Advantages Compact smartphone with some useful features

Disadvantages Disadvantages Not as intuitive as I expected, fiddly keypad

INTRO I decided this time last year that it was time I joined the smartphone generation. I would only use it for personal use and went looking for a deal that matched my low phone usage - I am never going to send 7 billion texts a month. I found it with O2 (my current provider) and this phone which I got on a 24 month contract for £25 per month. Vodaphone offered the same deal, but not all providers offered this phone at the time I believe you can get a cheaper contract now though. It could have been bought sim free for about £220, but it is worth researching this - to get the best out of it ... more

Advantages Advantages It does all I want and more

Disadvantages Disadvantages It just didn't light my fire

Intro I’ve recently been TUPE’d over to a new company, but still do the same job. Because of the move I had to hand back my trusty old Nokia which has served me well for the last six years as a works phone. To my surprise I was given a shiny new Blackberry Curve from my new company. Blackberry Curve I’ve heard everyone rave and rave about Blackberry so I was quite excited at getting one for my work. On first impressions it’s a pretty good phone. The screen is bright and clear with vibrant colour, it’s loaded with features, most of which I’ll probably never use, so I spent some time ... more

Dimensions: 109 x 60 x 13.9 mm Release Date: 08/2010 Hmmm, I’m not an avid blackberry picker even in season – however, when the month of October arrives I ponderously seek out a mobile upgrade - last time it happened, I was in Cambridge. I remember it being a bitterly cold day in fact. The mobile phone shop’s guarantee of warmth got me in, and the rest is history. Half an hour later I was 120 pounds lighter – it’s one of the recreational hazards of being a ‘digi-ware-fiddler.’ Upgrading technology via a click seems to occur as often as I have a Sunday Roast, I don’t know why? I suppose it is ... more

Gone are the days of a phone that answers calls and sends the odd text everything is done on our phones nowadays from shopping to banking it can be a tough decision to pick a phone in today’s market but I think I have found a gem. I’ve been a fan of blackberries for some time now. I don’t really use my phone for gaming and have never really been a big fan of touch screen. I had a blackberry bold 9000 for a long time and if truth be told it was on its last legs with its battery beginning to last less and less time when a family member told me they were upgrading their 9300 to an Iphone and ... more

Advantages Advantages Good upgrade from 8250

Disadvantages Disadvantages No camera flash still, Stupid setup

I have now been upgraded to a Blackberry 9300 as a contract phone after having a 8520 curve for two years on an orange contract. I have only had the phone a few days so am going to upgrade this review as I go along but thought I would start now while the comparrison is fresh in the mind. The layout of the phone feels more sturdy and has bigger buttons that makes typing using the blackberry ABC keyboard layout easier to use compared to my previous model. There are simple little things that make this phone easier to live with such as the sms that lists the conversation above so you can keep track ... more

    Advantages Advantages qwerty keyboard, bbm

Disadvantages Disadvantages slow, poor memory usage, slow processor, general poor performance

The Blackberry Curve 9300 3G is the second Blackberry I have owned and will never go back to Blackberry now. *Poor Memory & Processor Speed* This phone's main problem seems to be the on board memory of just 256MB and slow processing power which is completely inadequate for the modern mobile phone user. Loading websites using the 'internet' feature is all but impossible with this phone. Almost every time it loads in a page, the page is 'too big to display' and the internet shuts itself down. Using Apps such as twitter and Facebook was also not a great experience. For example, let's say you had ... more

Advantages Advantages Plethora of Features, 3G Connectivity, QWERTY Keyboard, BBM, Build Quality.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Camera, Rediculously Slow.

The main reason I purchased this phone was because of the price of it. The phone is cheap in comparison to the other models in the range and other smartphones on the market. As the specification points out, the phone is feature-rich, and in my opinion, delivers on all fronts. The device is strong and has stood up to some abuse, such as being dropped, thrown lightly, and sometimes being kept in a wet/steamy environment. I have heard many other complaints regarding the structural integrity and bild quality of the phone, however I can't say I feel the same. In my experience, they QWERTY keyboard ... more
