Advantages: Fast paced, action-led cinematic shooter. Disadvantages: Short, not great value for money, not too much replay value, stupid save method.
Black was one of the more eagerly anticipated titles for the Xbox. It was made by the developers of the Burnout series - Criterion Games. This should give any reader a very good idea what to expect IE a high quality game which is a lot of fun, with lots of over the top action.
Regardless, lets go back to the game. It's an FPS with at times clear nods to real world events, though this plays no real part in the action. The main selling point by Criterion ... ...in all guns blazing.
Black has a number of big action points... Wait that's not true, the whole game is essentially a big action point, with 'Black Ops' (ie cursor goes black) you can trigger by shooting them. I'd love to say this is tactical - don't get me wrong it can be - but there's nothing like the thrill of shooting something all to hell and hearing the whoomp!

Advantages: Great physics, Great graphics, Good storyline Disadvantages: Terrible ending
In this game you play an anti terrorist agent with an aim, an aim to put one man, the ringleader of a powerful terrorist organisation, to his death, or in a very compact cell for the rest of his days.
This is a game that is fast paced, tactical and takes first person, real life shooters to a new level.
You are equipped with a variety of weapons, from a sidearm to a high-tech sniper rifle, and the ability to use any means to push forward into the ... ...aspect of what can be done in real life, making the physics amazing, i.e. unloading a fresh shell, from your shotgun, into an obstructing doorway; slamming it to the floor.
Another example of perfect physics is the ability to smash a grenade clear through a window, killing the occupants of the room it entered in mere moments, and in explosive fury, whereas in other inferior games a grenade would merely ricochet back into the face of the thrower.

Advantages: Incredibly desructable enviroments, realistic and modern day weapons. Disadvantages: Many bullets to kill enemies and no blood.
This game is absolutely incredible. The guns, explosions and enviroments are brilliantly made. If you shoot a window it will smash, if you shoot at a car it will blow up and if you lob a grenade into a building you will see Hollywood effect explosions. They say that the guns are "the stars of the show" and they weren't lying. Every weapon has an outstanding personality and each have there own level of destruction. The assault rifles are excellent ... ...The shotguns are able to pump a round into an enemy and send him flying over the other pile of bodies you have already made. Throwing a grenade at a bunch of enemies has to be the funnest thing in the game, Watching them fly 20 feet across the room. Even the majority of the people who play this game have never experienced firing an actual gun including me, they are so realistic it's unbelievable. Black is a first person shooter developed by Criterion Software (the team behind the Burnout series) for the PS2 and XBOX...

Wow, this game just blows away any other action shooter so far its fast, fun and continuously playable. the game really shows the older consoles are still able to make great games as this is extremely real with amazing sound where everything does something when shoot at. the graphics are what I can only describe as perfect you wouldn't believe it, really its that good everything shines everything realistic with sharpness great camera effects explosions ... ...get in to and learn to play and play well shooting everything in sight with a huge range of weapons and explosives. the story line isn't like your normal shoot em up game it is a structured story with twists and turns that leave you wanting to know whets gonna happen next. the game is the best you can get in my opinion, the only disadvantage is multi player unless its online but I don't have ( actually if some one can tell me if it has because I ...
