Advantages Advantages Fresh breath and clean, white teeth

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Pricey

I've always been cautious when trying new 'miracle' products, especially when it comes to promises of white, glistening teeth. Mostly because they don't usually work (at least for me!). But dozing off to sleep watching some cable shopping channel, a product called 'Blanx' caught my eye. The presenter talked about a natural formula discovered in the Arctic when someone noticed how white our Icelandic friends' teeth are. Apparently the moss that grows there contains an ingredient - lichen extract -which naturally cleans and restores teeth to their original whiteness. This was taken and adapted ... more

Advantages Advantages longer lasting, fresh brushed minty feeling

    Disadvantages Disadvantages bit pricey

The first time I saw BlanX toothpaste was on the 'idealworld' shopping channel. I ususally don't give in to the sale patter on these programmes but I decided to go for it and got a twin pack for about £14.00- I have sworn blind over the years by using Euthymol and I still love the hot pink stuff - so it was going to be hard going for another toothpaste to sway me !! which is exactly what BlanX did. Apparently it has 'long standing Icelandic Secrets' as it contains Arctic lichen (which apparently grows naturally in the Arctic and has been used tradionally by the local people to clean and ... more

5 Stars Quick review of BlanX whitening toothpaste by aniakit 14/02/2008
BlanX toothpaste and all their product are generally out of this world! I these days i stick to Blanx biorepair. I had white stains where the enamel was decalcified (where i had braces) and biorepair completely evened the enamel. I don't need to bleach my teeth to have even colour- and it is my natural enamel colour, which is amazing as I had been told previously by dentist specialist that there was no cure for my case and that i would have to learn to live with it or bleach. So, please, People keep buying this stuff to make sure that ... more

Advantages Advantages works quickly without damaging teeth

Disadvantages Disadvantages A bit pricey BUT it is worth it

After spending ages searching online and in shops for a tooth whitener that would really work and not damage my teeth I finally found one I liked the look of on the boots website but was unwilling to pay the £3.50 postage charge on top on the £6.99 for one tube. The next time i was in town I had a look in boots and saw that they sell them in store too. I was lucky enough to have enough advantage points to get one. I have only been using this for 3 days and I am already starting to see a difference. Blanx has a nice taste and contains extract of Arctic lichen which is a non abrasive cleaning ... more

    Advantages Advantages None.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Everything.

For me this product is an absoloute joke. It doesn't do anything differant to an averag etoothpaste, and costs a ridiculous amount of money for a toothpaste. As far as I can see the main aim of this toothpaste is to whiten teeth, which if it did, I would be more than happy to pay the price for a magic toothpaste that could do so. Sadly this is not the case, as at does little to achieve it's a im, apart from succeeding in ripping of honest consumers. The only remotely good thing is the tube is not squeezy, but a firm tube, with a pumping action that makes the white stuff comes squirting out the ... more

just had my teeth cleaned and scaled by the dentist Thursday.I am in my sixties,a smoker and ocasional red wine drinker.I bought Blanx intensive whitening yesterday, used it this morning and I am very impressed by the results.I had 2 stubborn smoker stains on my teeth and they have already diminished significantly.I had read some of the negative reports about it but I am delighted with the result. This is a product that I will encourage the rest of my family to use on a regular basis.I recomend people to try this for a few weeks before embarking on an expensive teeth whitening procedure at their ... more
