Disadvantages Disadvantages That I have to use it at all!

Cat Litter scoop I am writing this in protest re that fact that you get more ££ or points for reviewing something as inane as this rather than a really interesting travel review. I am just making a point!! As the owner of three rather eccentric cats I seem to be forced to have a huge box of kitty litter in my utility room despite the fact that we have an entire garden and farm fields for them to use. Our ancient beast has decided that she has become an inside cat and if I don’t provide said litter box she goes where she thinks it should be. She also goes in other places if she is feeling ... more

Disadvantages Disadvantages I can't think of any!

Whilst not the most pleasant of subjects, cat litter - and the various deposits with which it has to deal with - are topics that ARE of use to cat owners as such items can be quite expensive and leave us with an expensive ‘pet care’ bill at the end of each grocery shop. Anybody who regularly reads my reviews will be well aware by now that I have a very elderly feline at home with me who is much loved and adored. She is 19 years old - a grand age for any feline, but this impressive age brings with it a variety of health complaints and ailments, one of which is unfortunately renal failure. An ... more

Disadvantages Disadvantages None at all for us

As a recent cat owner I have had to stock up on a whole heap of cat related items of course. For my kitten Myrtle I went out and bought a cat litter tray that included liners and a scoop already but having owned previous cats in the past I decided to purchase a spare scooper as I know how easy it it to mislay things and this....well you really shouldnt and its an item that we tend to use rather alot! I bought my scooper in Pets At Home for £1.49 which I thought for a Bob Martins product was good value. I spotted this only in the dark blue colour and in a silver colour, both made of plastic and ... more

I bought this scoop from Asda a month or so ago when we first got our kitten. Obviously, being a kitten he is an indoor kitten for now so he uses his litter tray. Initially because I'd forgotten to get a scoop I was using a plastic bag to pick it up and then dispose of it but I found that this way meant that I was also picking up a lot of litter and sometimes I wouldnt be able to get everything in one go so would have to do it twice so it was a bit of a nuisance. When in Asda I knew that I needed to get a scoop of some kind so I went into the pet aisle to see if they had any, otherwise ... more

Advantages Advantages Easy to use, cheap, sturdy, works well, means we don't waste lots of litter.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages None.

We have a cat who is an indoor cat and therefore she has a couple of litter trays & cat toilets throughout our home. We have two at the moment so that she can always access one wherever in the house she is. We tend to change these every 4 or 5 days as a general rule and in between we will scoop out mess and top up with litter as required. We use a litter scoop for this and we have two different ones that are both kept cleaned after use and clipped in to a place on the litter trays so they are always available to hand. I do not recall exactly how much this litter scoop cost us as we ... more
