    UPDATE 22.08.07 - Although I disposed of the box I had opened, I returned 2 new boxes that I had purchased (to stock up with) freepost to Bob Martin and I received a cheque a few days later for a full refund so all was well in the end. Having recently bought a new puppy I had a shopping list as long as my arm of things that she needed in order to be cared for and on it was the obvious worming tablets. I had heard of the Bob Martin range before and seen various products for sale as I browsed the shelves in various shops and so thought I'd give the dual worming tablet a go with Angel our pup ... more

    Working in the vets i can strongly advise people against using Bob martins it is in-effective cheap and nasty product that can cause serious illnesses in animals and therefore should not be used! on the other hand I can highly recomend Milbemax worming for cats and dogs, as it is highly effective and treats more worms than other wormers such as drontal. These worms include: Round and tape worm ( The two common types) Whipworm Lungworm Heart worm Hookworm Therefore giving you a wider range of use.     Firstly i have to say that i have no idea if this product is actually any good for getting rid of worms if your cat already has them but is great for preventing them. Bob martins duel dewormers are for cats over the age of 6 months old and are not suitable for any cat younger than this, you will also need to ask your vet if you can use these if your cat is severely under weight, pregnant, epilectic or has kidney problems. One tablet does the job of treating both tape worm and round worm or if given every 3 months as i do will stop your cat getting them. These are tablet form which can be a bit ... more
