Advantages Advantages keeps my cats protected, easy to use

    Disadvantages Disadvantages -

With my cats I always make sure I buy every single product that is necessary to ensure they are protected from all possible illnesses or problems. A common one among cats are ticks & fleas, I have been lucky that only once in my lifetime of having cats as pets have I ever come across this which wasn't the nicest. So with my oldest cat being 1 year old and my new kitten just coming up for about 14 weeks, it was time to use the Flea & Tick Spot On which my oldest has been getting from a young age anyway but I like to keep on top of it so they are constantly covered. PACKAGING The Bob Martin ... more

Advantages Advantages Reasonable price, easy to open, good packaging, my cat didn't get fleas while I used this.

Disadvantages Disadvantages Horrible smell, cat gets upset and aggressive which is unusual for her.

Our cat is now almost two years old and is growing up so fast! It feels a little crazy sometimes that we've had her over a year and a half now too. Our cat is a house cat and has absolutely no desire to go outside at all. She has a few health problems and because we have several friends with outdoor cats we do the sensible thing and ensure that we keep our cat up to date with injections, flea prevention treatment and de-worming treatments on a regular basis. In the past I have used Frontline and this has always helped to keep any fleas off my cat. Obviously it is hard to tell if any fleas have ... more

Advantages Advantages Not a bad price, cat has never had fleas

Disadvantages Disadvantages Not easy to administer

When we were given our cat we got a lot of accessories with her and the Bob Martin flea spot on was one of the things that came with her. As it came with her we didn’t actually pay for it but for the purposes of this review I have had a look on the internet and it costs around £6.50 which gives you 24 weeks protection so you would need just over 2 packs in a year. The treatment comes packaged in on a cardboard sleeve fronted with plastic, the packaging holds the name of the company, name of the product, states that it can be used from 12 weeks of age and also has a picture of a couple of ... more

Arnold - My pet cat, developed fleas about 12 months ago. Aged 4 at the time he had never had any problems at all before this point, but one night my wife noticed a dark black, wriggly little flea / tick crawling through his bright white fluffy fur. There was nothing that we could do that night, as it was late, but the next morning we headed off to our local 'Pets At Home' store to try and buy something to clear the fleas. There was a wide range of treatments in there, but the main one on the shelves was the 'Bob Martin' brand. Priced at about £3 for 24 weeks protection - split into 6 little ... more

I have three cats in my house and two are very old (Winston and Teacake) and the youngest one is Pud who is the Tiger Stripe and Head of the House he thinks. I like to take good care of all of my cats and I make sure I get them their injections and that they eat healthy and also I like to buy them some good quality flea repellant. I buy the Bob Martin one and I get this from the Co-op in the village where I live. If one of my cats gets fleas then the other s will too as they all sleep huddled up together and they are all very close and good friends with one another. This is available to buy in ... more

My intro: When I first left home, I decided I needed some company and as I worked all day, I decided on a kitten, then concerned that one kitten would be lonely, I brought two from the same litter and called them Bruno and Tyson. Once they started to go outside, we seemed to develop and problem of fleas, particularly with Tyson, and of course, having two, meant that they were constantly sharing! Availabilty: The product s available it pack sizes of 4, 8, 12 and 24 weeks, I have only seem the 4 week pack in my local supermarket however pet shops and specialists do the larger sizes. Price: The ... more

Fleas and ticks are not a laughing matter, just the mere mention of them makes me scratch and feel uncomfortable so in order to keep my home flea free I use Bob Martin Cat Spot on for Whizz the cat! It is very important when you own a cat to protect them from fleas and ticks as it's not nice for them and it's not nice for you. Now, you can decide to take them to the vet to have this treatment done but that it costly and time consuming and why would you do that when this fantastic product is avaiable in your supermarket. After treating my perfectly healthy 1 year old cat with FleaClear Spot On, she was vomiting, lethargic and wouldn’t move. As I was going to work, my friend took her to an emergency vet who was shocked to hear she had been treated with Bob Martin products. She was treated for a number of complaints including severe dehydration and was kept for observation. 5 days of worry later and £320 lighter, I complained to Bob Martin. They sent me a form to complete which I duly did and returned to them the same day. Three weeks later, they took the time to respond to my letter, simply asking for MORE ... more
