The Best Butter by Far!!

Advantages: Lovely and Creamy, Smell of lovely Strawberries!
Disadvantages: Cost

...am a big fan of The Body Shop, particularly the body butters within their moisturiser collection and I use them on a regular basis. My love of the products came from receiving a gift pack with several small samples of the products for Christmas three years ago. ==~~First Impressions~~== The packaging for these body butters was quite unique to The Body Shop, however more recently I have noticed copycat versions of this product and packaging. There ...
...the ones I am particularly fond of are the Satsuma, mango and strawberry (the one I have chosen to review!) - all of which are in lovely bright and distinctive packaging. ==~~Price~~ == This is the one downside to The Body Shop products in general, they are quite pricey. However in my opinion it is worth the price, I have tried many of the cheaper versions and they don't even compare. The Body Butters are available in two different sizes, the 50ml ...

Butter me up. Berry nice!

Advantages: Smells lovely, and it works
Disadvantages: Expensive

With summer quickly approaching and the threat of exposed legs, feet and arms I realised with shock what a winter of wearing jeans and long tops has done to me! My skin looks dry and horribly in need of some TLC. I haven't been into the Body Shop for ages. I knew that they had remodelled themselves, and had also heard that they were trying to address the fact that the large majority of their sales occur over a couple of weeks around Christmas time. ...
...people to join up, because the whole reason I was in the shop was because I don't look as if I love my body. Anyway joining this club gave me 10 per cent off all purchases, a free gift if I spent a qualifying amount and further discounts throughout the year. As I was filing the membership form in I started to talk to the sales lady about my yucky dry skin, and she led me over to the Body Butter products. There was a super choice of different Body ...

You can butter me up anyday!

Advantages: Smells delicious, keeps skin soft and silky.
Disadvantages: Quite expensive

...never think of things on the spur of the moment! And you always end up getting surprises which you didn't really want! But last Christmas I received a classy bag from Body Shop containing lots of Strawberry goodies. As my usual body lotion was nearly finished I decided to look in my bag. Body Butter! I opened the tub and released the most wonderful smell of fresh strawberries. Reading the accompanying leaflet I was even more impressed with Body ...

It states that it is Strawberry Body butter, I believe there are alternative flavours- flavours? Believe me, you really want to eat this as it smells like food! It also states it is made using strawberry seed oil to moisturise normal skin. This provides omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids that ...

A delicious and fruity smelling body butter.

Advantages: The smell stays on your body, but isn't overpowering.
Disadvantages: None! It's great.

I've known the Body Shop body butters range smell nice, everytime I've been in The Body Shop I always like to sniff them, however I've never bought one before because I don't often use a body lotion as the skin on my body isn't particularly dry or anything. I recently got a free gift when I spent over £25 in the Body Shop and inside the gift was a free 50ml tub of the Strawberry Body Butter, so I finally own one! This Body Butter comes in a lovely ...
...types of skin for example the Coconut Body Butter is aimed at dry skin. As soon as you open this tub up the smell of strawberries hits you. It reminds me of strawberry yoghurt or milkshake and is nice and sweet. If you're not one for fruity smells then I really wouldn't recommend this to you! The body butter itself feels very much like butter, it's not a runny lotion but it's also not hard to scoop out of the tub and rub onto your skin. I use quite ...

**Soft Smooth Supple Strawberry**

Advantages: leaves your skin soft smooth and smelling of strawberries
Disadvantages: slightly expensive but worth the money

...and so far this is the only thing I have used. It's a 12m container and has 50ml of this divine strawberry body butter inside, fitting perfectly into any overnight bag when required. Like most girls, I get dry skin at times and so using this helps to prevented dead, flaky skin occurring especially with summer round the corner drying our skin up. ****The body shop**** The body shop may seem expensive, but support many causes. Smoother yourself in thick strawberries.

Advantages: easily abosrbed adding instant moisture.
Disadvantages: the scent can ware off quickly.

...am an avid fan of the body shop so many of my reviews are based on The Body shop and their products. So sorry to disappoint you but this is yet another body shop review. I recently reviewed the body shops Satsuma body butter and I was less than impressed with it, so today I had a wonder around my local body shop to replace the Satsuma butter as I will never use again. I have now purchased the body shops strawberry butter. I explained to the sales ...
...but not as overpowering as the Satsuma. STRAWBERRY BUTTER This body butter itself is designed for normal skin types, it is an intensive moisturiser that can be used on the face, hands and body. This is a thick pinkish cream that offers all over moisture to the body. The cream itself is very easy to apply, unlike the Satsuma body butter this strawberry butter can be applied thickly as the smell isn't as over powering as the Satsuma butter, there ...

Sweet as Strawberries!

Advantages: Moisturises, not tested on animals
Disadvantages: Smell is a bit too sweet for me, skin was just a little bit greasy

...before. I really like the design of the tub. The tub is made from red plastic, with a matching red plastic screw-top lid. The 'Body Shop' logo is in the middle of the lid and 'Strawberry Body Butter' written along the edge of the lid and in the background there is a picture of lots of yummy strawberries! The body cream itself is baby pink in colour and really smooth (kind of like butter!) It is quite thick, which I really like in a moisturiser. ...
...goes on really nicely. The body butter is quickly absorbed into the skin and it does leave it really soft and moisturised, but I also thought my skin felt a tiny bit greasy. I found the body butter really gentle, it didn't dry out my skin at all or irritate it. I quite like the smell, though it is very sweet. It smells like strawberry yoghurt or those foam shrimp sweets you get. It is a nice strawberry smell but it is almost slightly artificial. ...

Disadvantages: A tard pricey but the quality speaks for itself

...Shop Strawberry Body Butter' in the small 50ml tab and I think I bought it on one of my trips to the store and it cost £4.85; They also sell a 200ml tab for £12.20. It comes in a very noticeable dark red opaque plastic round container which has a sticker on the screw top cover with a picture of strawberries and it stands out on the shelf. It has a soft and light texture and is smooth to touch. You apply by rubbing onto hands and massaging onto the skin after ...

"Strawberry Delight!

Advantages: Leaves Your Skin Feeling Super Smooth
Disadvantages: A Little Expensive

We have all heard of The Body Shop or even tried some of there merchandise, be it women, men or children. It is one of my favourite places to buy body essentials as I call them. I called into a branch last weekend to buy a few Christmas gifts, but obviously could not turn away the temptation to treat myself at the same time ! It is extremely difficult to buy for others in this shop and not buy something for yourselve. Most people are aware of ...

Something for everyone in the high street shops, including make-up, fragrances for men and women, childrens toiletries, aromatherapy, bath and body and hair care, and obviously at this time of year sell a very wide range of gifts. You can also visit and order on-line (www.body shop.co.uk) or have your own body shop party at home. I have a ...

...body butters and believe that the Body Shop ones are the best. This in mind I thought I would try another of their range and plumped for Strawberry! I bought it for £12.50 from Amazon using my vouchers hurrah so at least if it turned out to be a disappointment I wouldn't have lost any real money! I bought the big 200g tub which is a dark red with strawberries on the top. The actual butter is a light pink colour. As soon as you open the lid you get ...
...little artifical perhaps. The consistency of the body butter is the same as the others being very thick and buttery. Indeed you can open the pot hold it upside down and none will drop out. I then normally get a largish dollop and put it on my legs and feet and spread it all over. This is when the smell really comes out and I'm starting to think smells REALLY sweet! It does feel lovely once it has melted onto your skin though making your legs (or ...

Strawberry fields forever!!

Advantages: Smells ABSOLUTELY gorgeous!
Disadvantages: Too expensive

...have tried many moisturizers and the Body Shop range is definitely one of my favourite brands. After using this product my skin feels quickly moisturized and soft. strawberry butter?

Advantages: smells nice
Disadvantages: expensive

...about this body butter is the smell. I love fruity smelling products especially if they smell good enough to eat and this one certainly does! It smells quite like strawberry ice cream and is a very rich smell. It's texture is very thick just like butter! So very well named! I find my hands get very greasy when using this and I'm always putting the lid on wrong which then makes it doubly hard to open it next time which is really annoying! It's not easy to open at all when you have wet hands which is a bit of a design flaw! It costs £12 which is pretty expensive but it does last a long while. I dont think I'd buy ...

Disadvantages: May seem expensive but it is worth it.

...in third world countries as The Body Shop pay these people a fair price for the ingredients. The different butters are suitable for different skin types. Eg. Mango is for very dry skin but in my experience I find that people actually choose which they want by the smell which is one of the best things about these. As they do contain natural ingredients they do smell of what they are. Eg. satsuma does smell of satsuma and does not have an artificial ...

The Body Shop Strawberry Body Butter

Advantages: Has a lovely aroma and feels great on the skin, good for dry areas
Disadvantages: Can be a little expensive

I really like The Body Shop, and have used their products since I was a teenager. The Body Shop seems to have become rather expensive in recent years, so I have not shopped there as much, as I am on a reduced income since having my daughter eighteen months ago. I tend to buy items when there is a sale on, with products often half price (there is a sale at the moment). I have tried quite a few of the body butters, and they have all been really nice, ...
...rich texture. The body butter costs £12.00 for a 200ml tub, which is quite expensive, but £6.00 for the same amount in the sale is good value, as it is very good quality. The Strawberry Body Butter is packaged in a tub with a screw top lid, and is very thick and rich. It is absorbed well into the skin, and leaves a fresh strawberry smell. It is good for moisturising all over the body, and especially extra dry areas, such as knees and elbows, as it ...
