Boom Blox Review

Advantages: Orginal, great multiplayer modes
Disadvantages: Can become tedious on your own

...my friends I was hooked. Boom Blox is an excellent multiplayer game with many variations on the basic idea of throwing blocks at things. I have not yet explored all the features and games but from what I have seen it does the wii justice. Its all too easy to get side-tracked from knocking blocks from a tower when anoying beaver-rabbit-hamster creatures dance around the edge of the screen, sooner or later you cave and lob a block at one of 'em and ...
...someone but without it can become quite repetitive. If you want a party game or something to play with people I urge you, buy this game but if you are the solo-gamer or more hardcore avoid this game. It is like so many other wii games, original, cute and very playable with friends. The many modes and brilliant multiplayer modes will keep this one on top of the pile in your collection. Please leave feedback. ...

Is it a boom or a good game?

Advantages: Gameplay and originality are amazing
Disadvantages: Boring to play alone after a while

The graphics of this game are nothing really special, with just some nice affect. I did, however, notice some slowdowns when the action paced up. The game is an action game and I must say, it does make great use of the Wiimote, something we aren't used to with 3rd party games. Basicly, you have to solve a series of puzzles involving blocks by throwing, pushing, moving and all different types of things with the Wiimote. The game is a long one, with ...

Boom Blox Wii

Advantages: slightly addictive, good strategic game lots of fun in multiplayer mode
Disadvantages: single player not so good

Another good release from nintendo, Multiplayer game is best can have upto four players, ddifferent tyopes of modes, pulling blocks out like a gian jenga game on screen, throwing balls to knock towers down, and a shooting targets game, Once you choose a mode there are loads of different style puzzles to get through, On th grabbing one you need a steady hand and also make sure you pull the right item else the tower will fall, different things on ...
...cause explosions to knock down towers more quickly to get more points, Had my doubts about this game but after player with it can become quite addictive, graphics are good and realism of the blocks wobbling is ace, myy 4 year old daughter loves to play the jenga one and it is a great game for the whole family muchbeter than you would think Summary: overall great game to be played multiplayer guarenteed to have plenty of laughs ...

Fun...but not a must buy

Advantages: Real fun, and somewhat addictive
Disadvantages: Can get repetative and agitating

This game is really fun, and it has some really puzzling - for lack of a better word - puzzles! You go from a simple know of the block tower type game to a jenga like game where there are bombs and small animals to save. While it may sound strand and dumb and kinda boring it isn't, and while it is simple to play the game and takes a little effort, you can work up a sweat if you put enough time into this action pack puzzling and ultimately amazing ...

Boom Blox for wii

Advantages: Great creative elements and strategy.
Disadvantages: Dangers of wrenched shoulders in particular.

I bought boom blox shortly after purchasing the wii platform. It is a game I have played with my children and friends. I actually enjoyed this more than I expected - I am not a serious gamer but the game play was incredibly easy to pick up and there is something staisfying in hurling missiles at towers even if they are imaginary. Picture a virtual version of Jenga and you get an idea of what to expect. My child particularly enjoye dth eelement of ...
...and then send an attack to destroy it. My only complaint is that I put my shoulder out playing the game by getting too entusiastic when throwing the missiles. The whole family has enjoyed this game - it doesn't hold your attention for long spans of time but it is a fun game to pick up and dip into every now and again. ...
