Now I don't like spending much money so I did not opt for the 1-hour film-processing package for nearly £8 a film so I went for the overnight package. I have had perfect prints and on one occasion I had 6 films printed and every single one was printed back to front. so any writing was backwards, people and objects were in opposite places. The 35mm FILM processing is now awful, grainy, blocky, just poor. The CD from the same negatives looks awful on screen even though the resolution isn't too bad (1832x1240 = 2.2Mpixels ). This from a very nice Pentax slr with very nice lenses and proper Kodak gold 200ASA. Yet the same place at the same time (Cambridge Dec 2007) did some fabulous prints from digital So the problem is in the scanning the negatives, and when I take them back tomorrow I shall tell them so ...
