...quick look at the bottle: Boots Soltan Aftersun with Insect Repellent. It claims to counteract the drying effects of the sun, and soothe your skin. It contains cocoa butter and allatoin. It's also 'non-DEET' but I don't have a clue what this means!
The bottle is light blue plastic, with black writing, and a slanted lid, making the aftersun easier to get out. Not the most attractive of packaging, really. It's quite sturdy, so you don't need to worry ...

Advantages: Much less peeling, smells okay, absorbs quicky
Disadvantages: just smells like aftersun, bottle gets messy

I chose the Boots Soltan Aftersun lotion mainly because it was the same brand as the sun cream I chose, and because it was on offer at the time.

Advantages: soothes and moisturises skin
Disadvantages: dont use it on small kids
...go a little bit pink. Boots soltan is great as it really does sooth your skin and is easily absorbed into your skin. It smells ok and is reasonable priced so its a good poroduct to buy. Another reason i use it is due to the fact it has a built in insect repellent - which does seem to keep the local wild life away! Obviously dont use it on small kids. ...

Being the avid sun-seeker that I am, I have tried many of the after-suns available in different stores. I came across this one purely by chance, (last minute purchase before boarding the plane at Gatwick), and have used it every since. Disadvantages: bad odour, leaves your skin feeling oily.
last year i was going on holiday to spain, and needed a high uva protection sun lotion, with insect repellent, as im so used to getting bitten.
I went to boots, and bought soltan with insect repellent, seeing as it was on offer, buy one get one free.
It comes in a 200ml bottle, (orange) with a small spray on cap.
Although it says water resistent over 3 times on the bottle, after reading the small print, it still says apply after contact with water.

I love the sun! ...unfortunately I am also ginger...and should know better than wandering around a theme park all day in 22 degrees with no suncream on!!
