Natural teething remedy

AdvantagesSeem to work

DisadvantagesTricky to administer

"Boots teething pain relief With little grandson being at that age when the teething process atarts in earnest, we began to have a look around at some of the pain relief products available, preferably homeopathic. I remembered that when my children were young I used teething granules, so knew there must be something natural on the market. **What are they?** These are basically granules which can be given to babies and infants for the relief ..." Calm For Teething Review with images

AdvantagesPeace and quiet, natural and a good alternative.

DisadvantagesNone I can think of.

"...product can be found at Boots retail outlet in a blue box with a green leaf on the front. I highly recommend this to you as an escape from pain and the feeling that you can't do anything to help except exist on the air that you breathe and the pain that you feel from your baby crying inconsolably. I have called many doctors and health visitors for answers that before did gain my confidence, but sometimes you need to do what a parent needs to do and ..." Read review

Granules with a bit of Bite.

AdvantagesNatural

DisadvantagesNone

"Boots teething granules are fantastic! I can not emphasize enough how fantastic they are. Really! In the bad old days before discovering these marvellous powders, we were dosing up our now 22 month old Toddler with pink, gloopy, sticky suspension pain relief. Okay this did work, but it also made him hyper and I found that I needed to keep topping him up on this with no satisfaction that it was actually doing any good and possible more harm. So ..." AdvantagesEasy to use, instant relief, easy to get hold of

DisadvantagesCan be tricky at first, can work out expensive

"...Until, that it I discovered Boots Teething Granules. The work instantly and this means that not only is Connor happier, but so am I and I can get a good nights uninterrupted sleep (at last). Boots Teething granules are easy to use and come in handy single dose packets, because of this they are more hygienic and can be easily carried around in your bag if needed. There are some pit falls though, they can be tricky at first to actually get them into ..." Read review

No more bitten fingers

AdvantagesSimple to use, nice taste

Disadvantagescan be a bit tricky if baby or toddler is crying

"...one point, if anybody from Boots is reading this. It would help if the sachets were long ones, like the ones they now put sugar in. This would make it easier to pour the granules in. ..." Read review

HUSH HUSH LITTLE BABY

Advantagesease of use, handy packets

Disadvantagescould do with larger boxes

"...recently and I found these BOOTS granuals so easy to use. Pop them into the mouth and they seem to numb the gum instantly. Bliss for mums and must be heaven for that crying child. The powder comes in handy small sachets so they are very easy to carry around with you in that changing bag, or even in your handbag so that you can get to them when the tears start to flow. I would recommend these for most children with teeth problems as it does help ..." Read review

"Everyone who has had a baby knows how fustrating it is when they are teething. It's an unfortunate stage of development that they have to go through, but thankfully there is help at hand. I have tried so many teething remedies the in last few months, all which have been good in the short term. Someone told me about these homepathic teething granules, so i thought that i would try them out as anything is worth a try if it eases the pain. The product ..." Read review

Immune little girl

Advantageseasy to administer

Disadvantagesdon't seem to work on our little girl!

"...to include specific reference to Boots Teething Powders, as it was rightly pointed out that the original review generalised about "teething powders". We have tried others too, but none seem to have worked as well as other methods, but specifically speaking about the Boots product in our experience they were a miss. But there you go. If they work for you that's great, but just a little warning that they don't work on all babies! ..." Read review

Boots homeopathic teething pain relief

Advantagesalternative homeopathic remedy, easy to use sachets

"Boots own 'teething pain relief' with chamomilla is a fantastic alternative to more traditional medicines. (chamomilla is used in homeopathic tradition). With natural remedies increasing in relation to medicine & cosmetics, it's good to know that your providing totally natural ingredients for your child. And the best part is they don't break the bank (under 4 pounds) & they work! There are 24 sachets in each box which are individually wrapped ..." Read review

God send for teething babies

AdvantagesEasy to use, convenient to carry, really work

"My sister recommended the boots teething granules when I had my first baby six years ago. They really are a god send. They are an alternative to prescription medicine as they are homeopathic. They are white granuels which contain chamomilla and are a great alternative to the traditonal gels/creams on the market. I would recommend the granuels over any other product that is available They are easy to use and come in handy little packets so you ..." Read review

Misdiagnosis

Advantagescheaper than Nelsons Teetha

Disadvantagesawkward powder

"Boots Teething Granules are in effect, a cheaper version of Nelsons teetha. Homeopathy is prescribed not just by ailment, but by the particular sympthoms manifested by the individual, and their emotional state. 'BootsTeething Granules' is a commercial preparation of 'Chamomilla', a homeopathic preparation from chamomile flowers. Homeopathy is generally very effective of babies on small children. Homeopathy works on the principle of 'like treats ..." Read review

Peace at last

AdvantagesSimple to use

DisadvantagesCan miss baby's mouth

"...rest, try the best. Boots Homeopathic teething granules were the answer to my prayers during bad teething times with my two children. These granules are simple to use - just rip open the individual foil sachet and tip or spoon into baby's mouth. Instant relief seemed to be experienced when using Boots homeopathing teething granules. I think that one advantage is that you do not have to rub the affected area in order to give relief. My two babies did ..." Read review
