    This is one of the nicest tasting toothpastes available at the moment in my humble opinion! It is very minty, and leaves your breath really fresh. An amazing and unexpected additional benefit of thais toothpaste is that it seems to be the only thing that can make me feel wide awake in the morning! I assume this is due to the minty taste rather than the product secretly containing caffeine! The main reason why I chose boots totalcare was the TV programme watchdog.     Toothpaste – not a very exciting subject to write about but Ciao doesn’t pay for the interesting stuff and I’m in it for the money so here goes! I always feel a bit of a fraud writing about dental matters given that over the last few years I have suffered sever dental infections which have resulted in about 8 extractions.     I have only been using this product since Tuesday and already my little problem has almost disappeared. What am I talking about I hear you say, well my sensitive gums. Only last weekend my gums started to feel sore, the day after the soreness was spreading round my mouth, making it feel more like toothache. Normally I would go straight to the dentist and get him to prescribe an antibiotic to kill the infection off, but with having not much time to myself this week, i thought I would try an alternative.     I bought the Boots Smile Totalcare Toothpaste (100ml) for the bargain price of £1 not too long ago. I got it because it matches my current mouthwash. How sad! The toothpaste comes in distinctive red and white packaging (a bonus if you're a Sunderland supporter like me!) and contains instructions which I won't repeat here - I'm sure you all know how to brush your teeth! The toothpaste comes in Freshmint flavour and is supposed to fight decay, plaque and tartar as well as freshen breath. I always find it rather amusing how makers of toothpaste seem to compare their products to small armies ... more

    When it comes to toothpaste we have always been a Colgate family, usually Colgate Total. However, looking along the shelves in Boots a few weeks ago I noticed Boots' own brand Smile Totalcare toothpaste. At £1 against Colgate's £1.99 for 100ml tube I decided to try it. The toothpaste tube comes inside a cardboard box which is red with bright yellow writing. The tube itself is plastic like other brands with a flip top lid.     Boots totalcare toothpaste, freshens and protects your mouth when used twice a day , it freshens your breath ,fights decay, helps protect gums and fights plaque. i love this toothpaste much more than any other i have used it's also a anti-bacterial , it makes your mouth feel very clean , even after foods that give yoiu bad breath . in the morning some toothpastes are not very nice to use, but this one is just fine . i think anybody that has tryed it will stay useing it . so if you want a top toothpaste try this one... ... more

    I've been using this tooth[aste for 3 weeks now, and it really odes work a treat. The packaging says it also whitens, and protects teeth against tartar, decay, and gum disease. To be honest my teeth were already healthy and white enough, but now using it for three weeks, my teeth seems to have a pleasent glow and my smile is even larger! The taste is nice, and theres no horrible after taste either and rinses away fine. It does freshen your whole mouth, again I don't have bad breath so I can't state if it freshens bad breath, but it leave a nice 'fresh zing' on your tounge, I got my toothpaste ... more

    I have always used a limited number of brands for my teeth but, with Boots' reputation I decided to try their totalcare toothpaste. Texture A bitty consistency that felt something like sand in my mouth. Other toothpastes I use are refreshing and foamy and actually leave your mouth feeling fresh afterwards. This toothpaste left my teeth feeling as they did before I started brushiing. Price Although this is not as expensive as other toothpastes (£1 for a small tube) I do feel that it is not worth the money mainly because it does not leave 'fresh breath' as it says on the tube.
