Born To Be Riled is good. It's probably not Jeremy Clarkson's best book, but it certainly makes for great reading, either as a bedtime book, where the short columns are ideal for a quick spell, on the commute or on holiday. It will certainly make you laugh, and the variety is great. It's just missing that little something.
The best, and in some cases worst, thing about Born To Be Riled is the fantastic scope of subject matter. Clarkson writes about ... ...connects you to the book. Born To Be Riled is humorous and interesting to read, and is very easy to pick up and get into, perhaps making it best read in short spells, allowing more attention to each individual column.

Advantages: A hilarious read. A large variety of subject matter, brilliantly used for humourous effect. Disadvantages: Best read in short burts. Dry humour may wear thin after prolonged reads.
...do things differently. Born To Be Riled is, in my humble opinion, best read three or four chapters at a time when you have a spare fifteen minutes. Possibly between snoozes on a flight to your favourite holiday destination or on your lunch break at work when you could use some cheering up. Quick review of Born to Be Riled - Jeremy Clarkson
This book by Jeremy Clarkson is very funny and if you enjoy watching the TVseries 'Top Gear' then this is a definates buy. This collection of column articles doesn't just focus on cars either is also makes humour of life and Jeremy Clarksons experiences.
The only slight critism is that some chapters are similar so the book can get a bit repetitive once you have read a lot of the chapters / columns. ...
