Advantages: Economical, efficient and quiet Disadvantages: None for me

When I moved four years ago I was moving to a much smaller home and left all my heavy kitchen equipment behind and started afresh.
Due to shortage of kitchen space I wanted a washing machine that would fit into a shed outside, so appearance wasn’t my main concern.
I wanted my machine NOW, I can’t be doing with having to wait weeks for company’s to deliver goods and we had a car at the time that the machine would fit ... ...machines I opted for the Bosch 1200 Classixx 5, at Comet store in Lancaster. The strongest selling point of the machine was the price; it was on special offer at just £249.00 and had a free five-year parts warranty. Also it was from a well-known manufacturer - Bosch, and the dimensions of the machine were perfect for the space I had.
To top it all Comet had one in stock for us to take home there and then.

Advantages: BRILLIANT VALUE BRILLIANT WASH. BRILLIANT MAKE Disadvantages: NO GO FASTER STRIPES.

LOOKING FOR A MACHINE
In the busy, bustling household in which I dwell, we needed to replace our noisy Zanussi washing machine, which sounded like a helicopter was landing in the garden everytime ... ...to our rescue came the Bosch 1200 Classixx 5, purchased from Peter Jones in Sloane Square,London, which is part of the John Lewis partnership.
I think the value of this machine was its strongest point at just £249.00 followed closely by the manufacturer Bosch, which in my opinion is a good make.

Advantages: Does a good wash and has a quiet spin Disadvantages: Wash cycles take a bit longer
Really pleased with this machine recommend by my mum. Washes really well and is quite quiet when spinning compared to most other machines I have heard. What I love best is that I the larger barrel allows me to wash more clothes in each cycle so I have now reduced my weekly washing down by 1 load! It is also very simple to use: just turn the knob to the desired wash and press the on off button. The only thing I would say is my 18 month old can use ...

Advantages: It comes in a pretty silver colour...... Disadvantages: Avg cycle is 2hrs, doesn't get stains out and is loud
...we moved house was that it was integrated into the kitchen.
I MISS my Hotpoint so much.
We also have a Bosch Dishwasher (also 3 months old) and this appliance is also way below standard.
Quite simply I am disgusted with Bosch, and would NEVER recommend them. ...

Advantages: NONE Disadvantages: EXTRA WORK AND RUINED CLOTHES
...TO REPLACE IT WITH THE BOSCH BECAUSE THE SPEC SEEMED GOOD, AND THE PRICE WAS GOOD, BUT I WISH THAT I HAD STUCK WITH ZANUSSI!
WITHIN A FEW MONTHS I STARTED GETTING WAXY, GREASY RESIDUE ON MY CLOTHES. WHEN I INQUIRED RETHIS I WAS TOLD TO FOLLOW THE TROUBLE-SHOOTING ADVISE, WHICH WAS TO TRY A HOTTER CYCLE. IHAD ALREADY DONE THAT, BUT FOR THE LAST TWO YEARS HAVE HAD TO DO THIS FREQUENTLY,USUALLY AFTER A GREASY WASH! ON SEVERAL OCCASSIONS THE RESIDUE ... ...MY THEORY IS THAT BOTH PROBLEMS ARE RELATED TO THE AMOUNT OF WATER BEING DETERMINED BY THE WEIGHT - SO MUCH FOR ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY- NO POINT IF I HAVE TO DO EXTRA WASHES AT HIGH TEMPERATURES!
SO NEXT TIME - BACK TO ZANUSSI AND SAVE BOSCH FOR THE POWER TOOLS! ...
