Advantages: Ease of use Disadvantages: Breakages, blockages, doesn't clean properly
Ok firstly, I find that all dishwashers with too many functions are highly irritating. Never being able to work out what setting you need it on is frustrating, especially if they all look similar. This particular dishwasher doesn't have too many buttons and programs and all the rest of it, which I find much easier to deal with. It's clearly marked and simple to use - a dial to set the program, and of course the lovely big START button. Unfortunatey, ... ...the best choice if you're looking for a new dishwasher. Yes the energy class is good, but it gets blocked all too easily, regardless of what dishwasher tablet you use. Even after scraping all plates and such so there is nothing that would block it (rice or some such thing) it still seems to block and flood far too regularly. Had another dishwasher, died of old age, had a bosch recommended. Bought the bloody thing
Did 3 loads and found it wouldnt pump out, found that the outlet pipe had become blocked, filter doesnt filter out food waste at all. Engineer came out and told me that that was correct and common to ALL bosch machines. What is the point of the filter if it doesnt filter stuff out??. Save your money , find a cheaper brand that has a working filter.
On closer reading the manual tells you that LARGE foood items that pass through the filter may block and damage the pump!!.
So if you want a poorly designed dishwasher bosch is the business, otherwise try elsewhere ...
