Bosch WAE 28162

My misery with Indesit, and their non-functioning washing machines, is over. After two unsuccessful attempt to buy a properly functioning machine, I got myself a refund from Argos and headed off to a local electrical store where my wife chose a Bosch machine instead. We've had trouble free experiences with our Bosch dishwasher and Bosch fridge/freezer, so it was no surprise that she would only choose a Bosch washing machine too, after the disaster that was Indesit. I work in a school and we have several washing machines so we can wash a variety of things swimming towels, t-shirts trousers and pants. I use the washing machine at least twice a week. One of the machines I use is a Bosch WAE 24162 Bosch machines are well known as being a good make, reliable and long lasting. Come into the sluice with me while I put Johnnies t-shirt in to wash he spilt paint on it and It will stain if I do not wash it out straight away. I purchased this machine about 6 months ago to replace my ever reliable hotpoint machine that lasted me for ages. I decided to shop around to try and get the best value for money and I have not been disappointed. It was worth shopping around as I managed to get a very good price for the machine, same day delivery (on a Sunday within 2 hours of purchasing it) and they took my old machine away for free. Connecting the machine was dead easy as it only needs to be connected to the cold water tap and the waste pipe - I was able to have it connected and working within 30 minutes. This is my first Bosch product and so far I am happy with it. I have had this product for 4 mts now and find it very efficent. Nice and quite even on fastest spin. Clothing washes well and whites come out well. I live in a hard water area and strongly suggest using a water softner. Design is good and nice touch buttons. However due to being touch buttons if you lean on them they can at times change. Nice deep power compartments and set out well for access. The only problem I have found is sometimes the softner compartment will clog up and the softner go all 'gluppy'. I do find it helps to add ... more
