    Reviewing our washing machine seems a very appropriate thing to do as it is an integral part of our domestic bliss. When a washing machine breaks down it makes you realise you don’t really want to go back to the ‘good old days’ when washing was done by hand. When our washing machine broke down and was uneconomical to repair we decided to replace it with a very good one. Bosch is a maker of good, solid and reliable domestic appliances and our trouble free dishwasher is a Bosch.     Advantages Advantages Quiet, does a good job, good choice of programmes and functions

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Annoying alert beep, touch sensitive buttons a bit fiddly, have had some problems with machine

    I will start by telling you that we have had this washing machine for just under 4 years now, so a fairly good test period I'd say. It cost around £650 and we chose this particular one for a number of reasons: 1) Bosch is a good, reliable make in our experience 2) Large wash capacity of 8kg (very handy for horse wear as well as human!!) 3) High spin speed of 1600rpm 4) Varied choice of programmes and temperatures It has many different wash options which I won't list here as there are 14 of them and I think that would just be unnecessary, but suffice to say they range from delicate/wool to ... more

    ~~~ Why do we need a new machine?~~~ Several weeks ago, my husband made a comment, "This washing machine has done us well" I replied with "Thanks for that" Within 10 days the washing machine went wrong, on its final spin it made an almighty noise and sounded like we had thrown a handful of nuts and bolts into the drum. Great!!!     Many people would consider £434 a bit too much to pay for a washing machine but nothing is too good for my little lady indoors and as she does the majority of the washing what the lady wanted, the lady got even though I cried as I handed over my credit card. I had wanted a washer/dryer combo so that we could have a dishwasher in the space saved but she insisted that a combo was not what she wanted due to past experiences.     I really hate this machine and unsuccessfully asked my supplier to take it back. The biggest issue is the unreliability of spinning. On most programmes it is 50/50 whether my machine will perform the final spin or not, and on larger loads in the standard cotton/mixed loads washes it almost certainly will not. !00% failure to spin on the wool wash, even with a single small jumper. The 15 minute programme has never taken less than 40 minutes, and the digital timing prediction is rarely accurate. When "finished" it sends out a shrill beep until you open the door or turn the machine off - just ... more

    He ordered direct from Bosch and was told to allow 3 working days, this was on the Friday. The following Tuesday I received a call to say it was in. Great Honest Service! ~~~Installing~~~ After removing the plastic and polystyrene, you had to remove the 4 transportation bolts in the back and replace with 4 plastic bolts/hooks (which then holds the pipes) these are easy to replace, they even provide you with the spanner which fits the Bosch is a maker of good, solid and reliable domestic appliances and our trouble free dishwasher is a Bosch.     this washing machine is a top appliance. i loved using it and it happened to be te first washing machine ive had that i had no problem using. i would say that the price of the appliance is very high but to be honest, its all worth the cost. the washing machine loos very nice through appearance.what i loved about it the most was its digital display, and how it displayed how long it would take until the washing is done. thea dvantages of the washer would have to be thats it quiet once it s on, unlike my old washing machine that used to wake up everyone in the house at nig and as for the ... more
