I would never have ever justified before spending £180 on a pair of headphones, but I go to the gym every morning and was sick and tired of those earphones that are 'designed for sports' that go around your ear, go in your ear and clip on, or do some other weird & wonderful thing that doesn't work! All they did to me was full out each time I did sit ups, or actually hurt the inside of my ear. So I decided to invest in these. My partner loves the ... ...the fuss was about.
The first thing you notice is how comfortable they are. They are cushioned on the bits that cover your ear and feel so soft. This cushion also acts like a sort of suction on your ear and blocks out any other noise around you. The sound quality is amazing and the bass is superb. I have never had a pair of headphones that doesn't distort when you put a really bassy song on full whack! I have these on at the highest sound, and although ...

Advantages: Lightweight, excellent sound quality, range of adjustment Disadvantages: Exposure of headphone wire disappointing considering the price.
...these headphones after my other Bose headphones no longer worked. I predominantly use these headphones whilst travelling, mainly on the plane to cut out the background noise, which they are very good at doing. The headphones themselves are very flexible, which is useful, but it can be difficult to find the most comfortable position, so it's a case of finding what works best for you. At first, they slipped off the ears quite easily, but I've found ... ...about 6 months usage. They work well with the iPod and with a laptop when watching films on the move. However, after a few months, the single wire started appearing through the string-like outer casing. It seems the wire itself is a fraction longer than the outer casing, and now I have a couple of small loops of wire exposed, which is frustrating considering the £90+ investment. ...

Advantages: Comfort, punchy bass, excellent build quailty. Disadvantages: cost if you're not a music buff.
These headphones are expensive compared to the average argos headphones... but....
If there are any headphones worth saving for its these. They are so comfortable that when I first got them I kept putting them on and taking them off just to keep amazed at how comfortable they are.
The sound quailty is also excellent. The bass is smooth and deep. Altough they excel in producing very punchy sound if your music requires. The range is impressive. The ... ...opinion) are opera, drum and bass and industrial rock (such as massive attack and sneaker pimps). However it will more then capabily handle all types of music.
For less money you could buy headphones which sound almost on par... but I don't think you will find any as comfortable which greatly increases your listening pleasure.
They also look very nice. They are quite small, with each earpiece just big enough to cover the ear but not surround them. ...

Advantages: good feel, comfortable, good mid-range, and treble Disadvantages: Terrible garbage base that drowns out midrange and treble
There are some good things and some bad things with these headphones.First off, they are amazingly comfortable and you could wear them all day. There is very little sound leak meaning they provide very good sound insulation reducing the need for noise cancelling technology. Great because you don't need to fool around with batteries. The soundThe treble and mid range are great, it's just too bad that they are almost completely overwhelmed by a terrible ... ...base as opposed to actually playing the correct frequency. This base blasts out a range of low frequencies in an attempt to hit the one it's looking for. I beleive that phono experts refer to this as garbage base. The base and the quality and whether it hurts your head or not depends on the song you play. If you catch a bad song you end up reducing the volume to avoid spilling your brains and then find yourself straining to hear the music. This overbearing ...
