    THE SITE & STUFF Their website is well designed with a consistent layout using their orange colour scheme. They've even applied a bevelled effect to many of the elements on the site, which I think looks very nice compared to the boring old flat style.     With the dreaded "C" word only 9 weeks away, I thought it about time to do some research on what to buy the men in my life. The most difficult person to buy for is my Dad. He has everything. I mean everything. Or so he thinks. I was recommended www.boysstuff.co.uk by a friend. Don't worry if you enter the address with one "s", it still goes to the same site. This website is a haven for present buyers who have exhusted all avenues. It's marketed as a site which sells "Big Boys Toys".     I am quite interested in cool gadgets and since firebox.com this is one of the best online gadget sites up there. I found out this site from a magazine called T3 and it didnt take me long in going to this site.     Although at first glance this site seems to stock a great deal of very expensive “boys toys”, there are some cheaper ones too for us people who do not receive a salary of over £20,000 per week! Boysstuff was formed in 1997, according to Richard who runs it, over a curry and a beer, and has geon from strength to strength since then. The site sells gadgets, and the more unusual toys (but not just for boys!)     I have used this website several times to purchase items over the internet, read on to find out why..... I first came across this site last year whilst searching for a birthday present for my fiance - What a surprise I had when I found it - much to my delight as it is fantastic.     Boysstuff.co.uk is a site on the lines of firebox.com and iwantoneofthose (iwoot). As I have two "little" brothers (ciao members Zargax and tangy) and a boyfriend (unintiated to ciao), this site is a bit of a godsend. I have used firebox and iwoot and they are all much of a muchness. There are a few things that set it apart from the other two sites. When you first go to the site you get struck by the busyness of it all. The front page is quite offputting. There are so many products on it (three columns) with descriptions in tiny fonts.     It is my intention is to warn others not to use this company if they want to be treated fairly as a customer & want to receive a quality service if something goes wrong with the item you purchase. I bought an X-rocker gaming chair with 2.0 sound for £25 + p&p It was faulty so I returned it by a traceable method as instructed by boysstuff customer care - which cost me £12. I asked if my £12 for sending the item back would be refunded in line with their terms & conditions (not forgetting their no quibble guarantee!)     after being sent the wrong items on 2 occaisions i was contacted by a man (?) named Gary whom i later discovered to be a senior partner of the company who acted as tho it was my fault that they were unable to send the advertised product as well as informing me that some people "just have an orgasm out of making a complaint", accused me (wrongly) of being a member of the competition and informed me that they didn't want me as a customer anyway and that i could go to watchdog or trading standards if i wanted - "they'll do fuck all anyway" - wrong again ! having looked into the sale of goods act ... more

    I recently made a purchase from www.boysstuff.co.uk. I couldn't have been happier with the level of service. Having selected the standard delivery option of three to five days I was absolutely delighted to receive my ordered item the very next day. Lets be frank now - anyone who can deliver that fast deserves to be praised. The package was well boxed and wrapped when it arrived, but given that couriers don't seem to care how they handle package.     I bought a senior gamebag from boysstuff. Not knowing anything about such things it was wonderful to be able to talk to them about the product prior to purchasing it. Once it came I was none the wiser about all this "technology stuff!!" but the customer service at boysstuff was first rate and they helped me set the gamebag up without any problems. Delivery was just as they advised it would be and came via a courier service.
