    Advantages Advantages Very efficient.

Disadvantages Disadvantages Price of replacement heads.

I first noticed a problem with my gum when I had given up smoking (again) and was chain-chewing Nicorette gum. After a week, I noticed that I couldn't bite my teeth together on one side and so, reluctantly dragged myself off to the dentist. He discovered a pocket in my gum (well, I had to have somewhere to keep my loose change) and he inserted a peridontal chip. This was a piece of acetate, approximately the size of my little finger nail and apparently impregnated with enough antibiotics to fell a rabid buffalo. He slid it in with the immortal words 'This may not be the most pleasant ... more

Disadvantages Disadvantages price of replacment heads

A fantastic toothbrush which thoroughly cleanses your teeth and makes your mouth feel alive again. Electric toothbrushes are recommended by most dentists and after using this Braun Oral B plaque remover not only do i notice the difference other people do too. This specific toothbrush has a timer which memorizes the brushing time and after two minutes the timer makes a short stutter which indicates that the two minute timer (recommended brushing time) has ended. This product has brush head indicator bristles (the colour on the bristles disappear half way down). If used properly the brush head ... more

Advantages Advantages Cleans my teeth, interchangeable heads

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Unusual sensation

When it comes to the chore of cleaning your teeth, it is a much more interesting job if you get some assistance with the cleaning. Either you pay for a servant (out of my price range) or you buy yourself a Brawn Oral B Electric Toothbrush (just in my price range). After 2 years of battling with a Boots own brand device, my cousin recommended the Oral B. The choice of her dentist she said. What a difference it has made to my teeth. They now feel much cleaner after brushing and much whiter too. Before the brush would vibrate but the Oral B actually oscillates in a circular motion. This greatly ... more

Advantages Advantages cleans teeth really well

Disadvantages Disadvantages Cost of replacement heads

I have now used a braun electric toothbrush for 5 years and in that time I have NEVER had to have my teeth 'scraped' by the dentist. This in itself is an advantage! It was in fact my dentist who reccomended this particlar toothbrush to the family - he stated clearly thet it was the only one (at the time) reccomended by dentists, so despite the cost my mother went out & purchased one. Since then three of her five children have left home (myself included) and the other two are at university and we all have our own braun electric toothbrush - need I say more? I am now waiting to try the new 3D ... more

Advantages Advantages easy to use, timer to time you, removes plaque

Disadvantages Disadvantages messy if you take it out of your mouth whilst brushing

After spending hundreds and even thousands of dollars at the dentists with plaque problems and inadequit brushing technique a dental nurse put me on to this brush and I have never looked back! I had problems with brushing, how long do I brush for? Scrub or up and down motion? There are son many contradictory pieces of information out there it is ridiculus. I work in the health industry (pharmacy) and it was still confusing! This brush is so easy it is unbelievable! it even has a timer that times you for exactly 2 minutes! (the correct time to brush) Within 12 months of using this brush I went ... more

Advantages Advantages Great clean with minimal effort

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Pricey replacement heads

I was given the Braun Oral B electric toothbrush for christmas by a family member who had no idea what to but me. may not seem like an exciting prezzie but i'm very glad of it. I chew through packets and packets of mints a day and have done evr since i can remember. As a result i have had extensive work done at the dentists. And i can be a bit lazy when it comes to cleaning my teeth thoroughly. the braun electric toothbrush is great for lazy people like me. Minimum effort, minimum cleaning after use, and a fantastic clean. My mouth feels so clean and to test it i found some of those colour ... more

    Advantages Advantages Good toothbrush

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Charging time

This toothbrush is designed to brush parts of the teeth other brushes cannot reach, maybe all toothbrushes are basically the same, but this one is pretty good. The toothbrush claims to be developed and tested by professionals in the field of dentistry, they seem to have done a good job. The toothbrush has an easy grip handle and a 2 minute timer, which is more than enough time to clean your teeth. The brush is so good that my own dentist has advised me to cut back the time I spend brushing my teeth. Model 9011 retails at £19.99 and comes in arrange of colours. ... more

Advantages Advantages Leaves teeth clean and nearly plaque free

    Disadvantages Disadvantages none

As I suffer with my teeth I thought it might be down to not brushing properly so I switched from a manual toothbrush to an electric one and have noticed a considerable difference. The good thing is you only have to move it across you teeth and it cleans them for you, it is soft on the teeth although it can make the roof of your mouth sore if you go to far on the inside of your teeth. It has a 2 minute timer so you know you have brushed them long enough and it also comes with a charger. I would recommend switching to this toothbrush as it removes most of the plaque, not between the teeth though ... more

Advantages Advantages Gives you a perfect feeling of freshness

Disadvantages Disadvantages Don't expect miracles in tooth colour - especially you smokers!

As a recent convert to the 'non-smoking brigade' after three years, I decided to invest in an electric toothbrush to return my pearly whites back to their original colour. I was absolutely dumbfounded at the feeling I was left with in my mouth. The teeth really did feel cleaner and the mouth fresher, not to mention the time and effort saved by the rotating head. My only criticism of these marvellous inventions is that one is advised NOT to use them with whitening toothpaste and therefore the hoped-for colour of dazzling sunshine did not become as readily apparent as I thought. Never mind ... more

    Advantages Advantages Less work, Rechargable

Disadvantages Disadvantages Dosnt clean that well, new heads are expensive

Well ive had the Braun Oral B electric toothbrush for about a year now, and i can honestly say its not much different to using a manual toothbrush. My teeth have a habit of getting yellow, and getting food stuck everywhere. My old toothbrush was ok, but it still wouldent get rid of the yellow and bits. I thought an electric one would do the job so i went out and bought one and i must say, my arm dosnt ache any more, and it lasts ages on a single charge so it does have some advantages, but i never really noticed any improvement in the condition of my teeth. Still yellow, still with bits, still ... more
