Advantages Advantages Easy to use, holds the charge well and much cleaner teeth!

Disadvantages Disadvantages Expensive replacement brush heads.

Around a year ago I had began using battery powered toothbrushes, and I was instantly impressed at the results over the manual toothbrushes. After using a few, I decided it was time to invest in a rechargeable toothbrush. There are so many different types on the market, but all I wanted was an easy to use toothbrush, I didn't need it to have bluetooth connection or tell me the time, and I didn't want it to cost the earth as the replacement brush heads are expensive enough! I finally settled on the Oral-B Vitality Dual clean toothbrush from Boots, one of the main reasons being because I liked ... more

Advantages Advantages Timer, rechargable, different toothbrush heads to choose from, cleans teeth better than a manual.

Disadvantages Disadvantages Replacement heads can be expensive.

I have been using an electric toothbursh for several years now and since beginning to use one, I have never wanted to go back to using a manual toothbrush, and so when my previous electric toothbrush died on me, I had to buy another. I previously had an Oral - B toothbrush and liked it so was looking to buy an Oral - B one again this time. I don't think that they are unreliable, mine would no longer turn on even after charging for hours and hours, I am not sure if it was the toothbrush itself or the charger that had broke, but I wasn't particularly bothered as I had it for around ten years, so ... more

Advantages Advantages Dual action prevents plaque build up, timer to ensure you brush for 2 minutes, versatility

Disadvantages Disadvantages Battery life is poor, can be expensive to buy if you don't shop around

I have a thing about dual head toothbrushes, having got my first one several years ago, an Oral B battery operated one. Sadly I was finding it increasingly difficult to locate replacement brush heads for it, so when I was out shopping a few weeks ago and noticed Superdrug were selling Oral B Vitality electric toothbrushes for £9.99 I decided to see if the Dual Action version was included in the offer. Upon seeing it was, I duly snapped it up and headed off home to liberate it from that godawful sealed shut clear thick plastic packaging that I feel is a blight on civilisation and needs ... more

Advantages Advantages Teeth feel superclean, no visible tartar

Disadvantages Disadvantages easy to forget to charge the battery

On my last visit to the dentist earlier this year I got a bit of a telling off about my cleaning technique as the dentist said that I had quite a lot of tartar (yuck!) around the back of my teeth. She suggested that if I could afford to do so I should switch from a manual toothbrush to an electrical one. As I generally find the whole scale and polish thing quite uncomfortable, but love the results, I decided to try using an electric toothbrush. I must admit I had always been put off by the price but at the time Boots had all electric toothbrushes in the Oral-B range on offer at half the normal ... more

Advantages Advantages Great value, whitens teeth, good value.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages None.

Ever since I had a brace when I was 14 I've always been a bit obsessed with keeping my teeth really clean. It's important to clean your teeth anyway obviously but I got into a routine of really looking after my teeth and I still keep it up now. I used to have an electric toothbrush when I was younger but it was only recently that I decided to have a look for another one. I had a look in Boots at various different toothbrushes, and to be honest the price of most was ridiculous. I couldn't justify spending a fortune, so I was glad to be Braun Oral B Vitality Dual Clean on offer for just over £20 ... more

Advantages Advantages Feels well made, there is no doubt my teeth feel cleaner after using this electric toothbrush.

Disadvantages Disadvantages More expensive than a manual toothbrush.

After being I regularly told how much better electric toothbrushes are than 'manual' ones I decided to purchase Oral B Vitality Dual Clean toothbrush. At the bargain price of £7.50 (RRP 29.99) I could not resist. I bought it at Sainsbury's on 30 July 2010 in case anyone else wishes to snap one up! As it is the first electric toothbrush I have bought I am not in a position to compare it how it cleans to other electric toothbrushes, but I can that using this has definitely made my teeth feel cleaner than when I used to use my old traditional toothbrush. Firstly I would say using an electric ... more

Advantages Advantages Good design, good clean - mouth felt fresh afterwards

Disadvantages Disadvantages Possibly dangerous - head broke apart in my mouth

I owned this toothbrush before my current one and primarily bought it because the dual-head feature intrigued me as it seemed different to what I had used in the past and I had high hoped that it may clean my teeth better. It did. With many of the circular heads, I found that with the pressure I applied, my teeth would go into the head bristles which is not ideal - dentists often say about people applying too much pressure and I assume this is part of the result. With this dual headed toothbrush I found that this didn't happen - I found that for the same pressure I was still getting great ... more

Advantages Advantages cleans well and not too dear

    Disadvantages Disadvantages nothing

I am a very big fan of Braun dental products and regular readers of my reviews will know that I am constantly on the lookout for gadgets and toothpastes to brighten and whiten my teeth. The recommended retail price of this particular electric toothbrush is about thirty pounds but I actually managed to locate one online for just a tenner about four months ago. It is light aqua and whte in colour and attractive looking and rechargeable. It does not take too long to charge and I just leave it on overnight so it is always ready for the following morning for when I wake up. What I like about this ... more

Advantages Advantages power and dual cleaning head

Disadvantages Disadvantages lack of a charge indicator light, cost of spare heads

i have used braun brushes in the past and been impressed by there performance,i was using a battery powered braun which was good till the batterys ran down,my wife and son decided they too wished to go electric but insisted on going for a cheaper brush that was rechargeable due to the whole thing with spare heads being cheaper than a pack of two heads for this.it soon broke and i put the old foot down and bought one of these and spare heads.i was disapointed there is no light to tell you it is recieveing power, not a problem if you use the socket for other things but if its the only thing you ... more

Advantages Advantages * Penetrates deep between teeth * Sweeps away food and plaque from the tooth surface * A

    Disadvantages Disadvantages none

after I wore about 2 months ago,,it has soft vibrating bristles that help break up plaque between teeth. Just turn it on and brush as you would with a regular manual brush. Plus, it’s pressure-sensitive split head adjusts to the contours of your teeth to clean hard-to-reach places while moderating the amount of pressure applied to teeth and gums. The result is an effective clean and an outstanding sensory experience. * Penetrates deep between teeth * Sweeps away food and plaque from the tooth surface * Adjusts to the contours of your teeth * Moderates the amount of pressure applied to your ... more
