    Advantages Advantages Not as cumbersome as a large blender

    Disadvantages Disadvantages May be tricky for those with hand / grip problems

    I bought this blender for the sole purpose of preparing my own baby food for my daughter, which I did never once turning to a jar of ready prepared. Prior to this my household was blenderless and I have never bought another one. The blender is mains powered (as opposed to cordless) and the blender shaft is detachable and suitable for cleaning in a dishwasher. The trickiest thing to get off the small rotating blade is minced beef as forms underneath the blade like string and you need to use a sharp knife to get it off. Not a criticism just an observation.     I'm the one who cooks at home and I'm quite peculiar about my kitchen appliances. My old BRAUN handblender let me down after years and years of use. After looking at other brands, I decided to stick with BRAUN. I needed one quickly as I was starting to wean my daughter. I used it extensivey to prepare babyfood, but also soups, sauces, smoothies, etc. I love the fact that this appliance makes so little noise.
