...Having liked my old Braun Oral B toothbrush I decided to go for the same make again and chose the professional care 8000. It has an attractive sleek design and it was also on a half price offer in Boots so I could not go wrong. Its usual RRP is £49.99 so you can see that the half price deal was very good. As soon as I received my new toothbrush I had to charge it before I could use it. It has a light indicator system which shows you when you need ... ...charge indicator will flash red if the battery is low. The toothbrush comes with a plug in charger and it says that if you want to, you can keep the toothbrush charging when not in use as it is impossible to overcharge it. I think this is a very good feature. If you don't continuously charge though a charged toothbrush should last between one and two weeks. Advantages: cheap, ease of use, good cleaning results Disadvantages: none so far
I was given this as a christmas present (after requesting one), so am not sure exactly what it cost.
When you first get this brush, you have to charge it. This is a case of simply plugging it in to its charging base and leaving it until the green charging light changes from flashing to solid (took about 6 hours from memory). You then have about 5 to 7 days of brushing (2 brushes per day).
Brushing is easy, you press the button and GO. Pulsating ... ...interval (you can brush for as long as you wish, but 2 mins is the recommended length of time).
Compared to manual brushing, your teeth "feel" cleaner with this. I can't compare it to others, but i'm impressed with what this one does.
Obviously I can't comment on longevity of this brush, but from what i've seen so far, it should last a while. As for replacement brush tips, I obviously can't comment on their longevity either (you are supplied with ...
