Braun ORAL B PC 8500 DLX (D 18 585 X)

This is a worthwhile product for those still brushing away with manual toothbrushes. I used to be sceptical, too - but several years with another Braun toothbrush, a 4729, has changed my tune. Don't just take my word - the dentists all seem to agree that power brushing is as good for you as power walking! I'd had a Braun electric toothbrush for many years but dropped it on a tiled surface and it died shortly after. After much deliberation I opted for the Professional Care toothbrush although I thought it was a bit pricey. After using this toothbrush my teeth felt so smooth and shiny. The only other time they've felt this clean was when I had them polished to remove all the adhesive after I had my brace removed. The timer is really useful as well as it tells you when to move on to the next quarter of your mouth. I'm not so keen on the tongue cleaner attachment, I usually use a brush for that ... more

I used to use a Oral-B Vitality Precision Clean Electric Toothbrush, but switched to the Braun ORAL-B PC 8500 DLX D 18.585 X after i got given it at work. (I used to be a dental nurse and got it free when the Oral B rep came in with a free sample.)
